It wasn't the 15 minutes it was his greed. They agreed on 75 million. Once the match was lit the plot for the rest of the movie was toast. It was evident that the pile of money was going to dwindle to nothing.

Movie wasn’t nearly as bad as I was expecting based on the reviews posted on here. There were some inconsistencies in characters but overall an entertaining watch with cool set pieces.

Good soundtrack, the rest of the movie was just not good...no way around it. something about it just feels very "Netflix" I can't describe it, but there was a cheapness to it I felt. I'll never watch it again.
These guys are supposed to be elite, top flight special ops. Every single thing they did was outlandish if you've ever heard stories from how those guys really operate. First, they would have planned the mission for like 2 months, then they never would have gone in there without great intel.
And they damn sure wouldn't have deviated from a schedule. The term "cowboy" got thrown around a lot in the movie...and it's not a compliment. Because that's exactly what kind of op they did...it was terrible from the word go.

but nothing completely outlandish. From there on though, train wreck.

saw it last night
was very predictable but pretty good. elite production quality and solid acting (other than charlie hunnam)
other than the Jax Teller injection, the biggest issue was tone and narrative structure. it's a "story" movie and the tone was all over. the problem was just grazing over the potential issues that lead to development (PTSD, being underpaid, being warriors in normal societ, the bond/brotherhood, etc). it was a hodge podge and due to that nothing was explored very deeply. should have focused on one of these things to develop the characters

not really. it just moved their morality into another area (b/c they killed a lot more than just a terrible drug dealer)
what fricked them was taking too much money. that's it. if they took $75M they make it over the mountain and get to safety

Had high hopes with JC directing and Oscar but it was frankly average. Disappointing

i think average is a very fair way to describe it
it's worth a lazy watch but don't go out of your way to watch it

There's a reason why a movie with this cast wasn't theatrically released.
Major studios had this script before Netflix. DiCaprio and Channing Tatum circled it a bit but walked away when they rewrote the script. Eventually Netflix bought the new script and made the movie.

It was ok
Was expecting a lot more shooting and action
Anti climactic ending
It had potential but def not worth another watch
And of course he’s going to go back and get the rest of the cash

I was super bored by it. It had a ton of potential and fell really short.

Agree with most. Movie was a disappointment. I couldn’t get over the helicopter not taking two trips instead of one with the money. And all these badass special ops guys couldn’t shake an old man villager and a teenager in the mountains? Okay.

It became too "hollywood" and predictable for me.

On the plus side, Ben Affleck was killed.

I think that’s one of the key elements of the movie. They kept breaking their own rules because of the money.
Soundtrack was kick arse.

Movies where guys fire 1000 rounds and never hit anything are stupid.
I turned this off after 10 minutes, bunch of hype for nothing

Man, a lot of you are being way too hard on this movie. It was perfectly adequate. Nothing great but worth a watch.
All the silly aggravating details are just like every other Hollywood movie, like why is this highly trained professional suddenly not sticking to the strict schedule. Every action movie has scenes like this with unexpectedly dumb behavior.
The fact that this long-delayed project with major actors ended up in Netflix’s lap tells you all you need to know. It wasn't worth a big marketing budget for a wide theatrical release, but it was "good enough for Netflix."
