I'm pumped for this.

quote:

Former Special Forces operatives reunite to plan a heist in a sparsely populated multi-border zone of South America. For the first time in their prestigious careers, these unsung heroes undertake this dangerous mission for themselves instead of the country. But when events take an unexpected turn and threaten to spiral out of control, their skills, their loyalties, and their morals are pushed to a breaking point in an epic battle for survival.

Charlie Hunnam, Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Garrett Hedlund, Sheila Vand, Pedro Pascal

From the director of All is Lost, the one where Robert Redford is alone at sea. I loved that one.

saving for this weekend, but excited. JC Chandor has made some really solid movies (Margin Call, All is Lost, A Most Violent Year).

i'm hoping this one delivers. According to his imdb page he also has a tv series in the works titled The Connection, focusing on "The French side of the French Connection."

This was being advertised all over Times Square when I was in NYC. I’ll still probably check it out.

Not worth the wait. I’m ashamed I watched it all the way through.

Its actually boring as shite, and kind of incoherent at times. No backstories on the main characters. It just thrusts you into a weak heist story, and it expects you to give a crap about these people?

Not to mention that the writers either have the problem solving abilities of 13 year olds, or they expected the audience to belive that an experienced Ranger squad did.

Wouldn't watch again, was a weak story for sure. It had so much promise I thought with the line up of actors

Not to get into spoilers but man some of the stuff in this movie was headscratching.

I give it a "meh"

The trailer was infinitely better than the movie in my opinion.
