Wow, had he really been there 7 years? Comedy Central deserves this for letting it go on for so long.

And Noah spent 2.5 of those years in his apt without getting a haircut.

Took them 7 years to realize what most people realized in 7 minutes…the motherfricker was not funny.

Their dozens of viewers are crushed.

I wonder if Comedy Central is just ending the show and allowing him to exit like it was his idea.

Regardless time to put the Daily Show to bed, it was unique and interesting when it started. The Kilborn years the show was eccentric and fresh. That continued under Stewart for a few years but Stewart spearheaded turning the show into pure politics. Was still funny for awhile even when it went political. But the final few years under Stewart it had become just a left wing screechfest. The show was just a corpse under Noah and he had the personality level to match it.

Thanks for the laugh: Jussie Smollett: The Lifetime Movie

The only funny moment of the show in seven years.

Came here to post this exact thing.

The Jussie Smollett skit was the only funny thing that show ever did, and Noah had nothing to do with it. His staff did it for him as a birthday present.

Only Samantha Bee had worse ratings.

How in the world did he make $17 million a year off a show that nobody watched?

The daily show and South Park are the only original programming Comedy Central has anymore so I guess plenty of room in the budget to pay him

Trevor Noah is nearing his last laugh on “The Daily Show.”

Through all the thousands of commercials I’ve seen and minutes of the actual show I’ve watched, I’ve never once so much as cracked a smile at anything this guy has said or done.

.

Stop watching garbage & giving these people a portion of your life.

They haven’t earned it.

* maybe I misread, and you’ve only seen very little of this show.

Sometimes I think your sole purpose on here is to troll and be a dumbass with no reading comprehension. I’ve seen the commercials because I had the TV on South Park marathons. And the “minutes” were right after Stewart left when I gave the show a chance. Before you attack, actually read what people post.

ETA: saw your ETA.

But seriously. Calm down just a bit dude. It’s 645am

While I disagree with them, I could laugh at Stewart, Colbert, Wilmore, Maher, or Oliver at times.

Noah has never even elicited a smirk.

I know I'm in the minority here...but I liked the show with Craig Kilborn at the helm.

I never understood the fascination with Trevor. Were it not for identity politics & the allure of a funny accent…

Stewart was a liberal but was more interested in having a nuanced show, he was perfectly fine calling both sides out or having guests on he disagreed with to have a legitimate discussion.
This is why I loved the Daily Show growing up, but Noah was like the Far Left Twitter echo chamber on TV. The Guy was also not funny and very cringeworthy
