I thought you lived in Louisiana for some reason. DFW by any chance?

the whole thing with poe, dern and fisher was absolutely just that, and even so, fine i'll live with it...how about dern's plans work thus demonstrating to poe that being crafty is sometimes better than walking in and shooting up the joint

Eh if you're gonna call that a SJW agenda, then Lucas had one too with the Leia Han dynamic at times.

Dern is fine though. Like a fine wine.

Well the Han/Leia dynamic works because he’s turned on by chicks with spunk, money, and who can fight for themselves. Han on the other hand won’t put up with her shite and treats her like he treats everyone else, which being a Princess I’m sure is kind of a new thing for her. It makes sense why Han and Leia are turned on by each other but would have a civil relationship for only a decade tops.

It was the same thing with Poe and dern. She was the laces tight, proper woman in charge who didn't put up with his charm or antics and he was the brash, guns blazing hero. They both had an attraction to each other that bordered on butting heads.

I gotcha

I still agree they should've just had her plan work instead of having that dumb frick casino plot line that had the classic "see the guy you need to meet then get stopped just short of your goal" trope that sucks.

Lando? He sold Han out. Or are you saying he's a part of Han and Leia?

I mean, I liked Rose or at least the first scene. She gave off a goofy, accidental hero vibe. She really didn't do anything or have any sort of a personality for the rest of the film outside of when she called Finn a "big dummy."
