Nah, I think the topper is something that Saul was holding on to remember Kim

My first thought on the car tailing them at the end is Lalo. His last words on the phone with Hector are talking about proof and "I know where to get it".
He never crossed the border though. When he said that, he meant Nacho. He’s hoping to catch Nacho and get him to talk. Mike speculated the same thing as well.
I think the car tailing them is either an undercover cop (they know something’s up with Saul’s case) or Howard’s PI. I’m leaning towards the 2nd one because Howard knew someone put that bag in his locker. Given all that Saul has done to him, he probably suspects him. In addition the preview at the end includes Howard telling someone to keep an eye on anything someone (presumably Saul and Kim) do. I think Kim is underestimating Howard

Kim dead
I will say the dumb theory gets more credit, but I think she goes too far.
We'll see
I still say Gene finds Kim in the finale.

Except that in BB at the vacuum place he asks Ed the Disappearer what’s in Nebraska and Ed says “You”, and then Saul gets a look of disgust on his face.

Hopefully this is the last good show to come on regular TV. Took me 2 hours to watch the first episode last night on their website because it kept crashing and then I'd have to go back and watch all the ads up to that point everytime I restarted it. Today I used their app on the firestick for episode 2 and it was better. Maybe just had too many people on last night

Gilligan and Gould could absolutely squeeze another series out of that premise.

I still don’t get why Mike would want Nacho killed.

If Kim is playing Jimmy then he would be disgusted to have to move to where she lives

He didn’t. When Gus asked him to speak his mind, Mike said loyalty goes both ways and Gus should have more respect for Nacho because he’s done everything asked of him.

Possibly so and that would also work against the statement I was replying to.

Yeah because Gus told him to. He also took out Nacho’s dad’s ID so the cartel wouldn’t find it. Mike already doesn’t want Nacho dead but he knows he’s not winning Gus over on it. But the line he won’t allowed cross is involving the father

Mike is in a tricky position in that he has to mostly go along with the program in order to hopefully influence Gus' thinking, which is way he did things like plant the bank statement with the phone number and ghost Nacho, at least until the end.
Gus may "respect" Nacho now but he's a cold hearted realist and he has determined that Nacho has no chance of getting out of Salamanca territory alive and a rescue mission would be pointless.
Him staying alive as long as he has gives Mike some leverage in the debate since it's growing more likely that, while his luck will eventually run out, he'll be taken alive, which is changing Gus' calculations and edging him towards an extraction attempt.

Kim is manipulating Saul into ruining Howard, for what? Howard mentored her, paid for her law school, treated her very fairly.

Probably threatened to spill his guts if Gus didn't shite him a ride out of town within 24 hours.
The father angle has minimal leverage because Hector Salamanca, at the least, knows who he is, too.

I dunno, it only makes sense to me that Mike was following Saul and Kim at the end.
Everyone else knows that Lalo is alive except for them two, and Mike was the one who told them that Lalo was gonna die. This is Mike’s issue to deal with and we all know how he does business face to face.
