Kim is not killing Lalo. In BB Saul believes Lalo is still alive. If Kim kills him Saul/Jimmy would know.
Gus is certain he's dead.
If Lalo is dead it's a Gus/Mike or cartel situation. It's also a possibility that Saul is right and he's still alive, Too many moving parts to predict, but if Kim killed him I'm sure Saul would know.

Why do you say that? One of my biggest takeaways from BB is that immoral decisions have consequences. If Kim continues on the path she is on, she will almost certainly suffer significantly for her choices. I think death is certainly a possibility. Her death would also serve as a severe punishment for Saul.
I’m not saying that she will die, but it is very possible in my opinion.

Kim will “disappear”
Since we seen all bad people have paid a very heavy price for their transgressions, we must assume Kim pays the heavy toll as well.
Since we know Kim didn’t exist in BB there is no way Saul would be depressed if she died. In fact he has moved on without her as CinnaBon man.
The writers will figure her way out but Cinnabon Jimmy is alone in Nebraska with the weight of his behavior dripping on him like the icing on a sweet roll.

As someone else mentioned, Saul doesn't know if Lalo is dead in BB but he also first asks if Nacho sent them. Going to be a showdown I'm sure, and its not like Jimmy would really ask if one were dead if he was talking to anyone except Mike, who might tell him, through a vague reference.
Also, I suppose you are right, I forgot Mike reprimanding Jimmy in the desert about him telling Kim about the money. Even still though, up until this point Jimmy has been a "friend of the cartel" and only Lalo knows about her and he obviously respected her "clean up your house shite" and probably even more so after the attempted hit.

I've been doing a rewatch as we wait for season six to drop. Season five I had not watched until now. What the frick did they do to Kim's character? There's no consistency of thought, emotions, or actions with her.

Well hes not totally innocent he deserves some unkind feelings. He's held them both back professionally. He's their foil, in the fact that they had to cut corners and do shady shite to get to where they are but as far as we know Howard was 'clean'
But I think Jimmy isn't actually down with framing Howard. And we will see more reasoning for Kim when more background is revealed

I've always liked Howard. He always tried to do the right thing by Chuck. He never really treated Jimmy poorly unless Chuck wanted him to. After their history, he still offered Jimmy a job and got shite on for it. Even how he treated Kim was largely justified.

I think he represents the elite more than the commoner that jimmy and kim are all about. like working on chucks behalf to hold jimmy back. not being willing to give the scholarship to jimmy's applicant (although he was willing to vote on it again).
he's a little on his high horse and judgey to a point that personally offends them both, although he may actually have genuinely good intentions. but I agree their feelings towards him arent totally justified. but this makes him an interesting 'final boss' of legal warfare for them in BCS to see how much they will really 'use their powers for good'

and I dont think anyone has said its a magic jimmy into saul switch overnight... its been happening the entire series. although people have said it might solidify the transformation.

You're talking about right now. When I first started saying Kim is half of Saul 90%+ thought Kim's death would trigger Saul.

I don't see how Kim can die unless it happens long before the BB crossover where Saul meets Walt and Jessie. Saul would be too fricked up and that is not intimated in any way in BB.
She's gone somehow though one would think as she didn't get vacuumed along with Saul. Unless he just doesn't do couples.

Seriously, I've read Gilligan saying they didn't know where they were going season to season while writing BB. They did not have 6 seasons of BCS all laid out from the beginning allowing them to place all these clues you fantasize about.

Kim is definitely still alive in Gene's current situation. IDK what Gene is going to do, he could cause her death going forward, but I doubt it. She is absolutely currently alive and has some sort of limited contact with Gene.
