You're making it more complicated than it really is.
Kim is trying to protect their cash and their asses. That's the most simple way I can explain it.

That's great, and so true.

This.
Kim wouldn't be working for anyone else but Saul and herself. She is protecting their assets, not Gus', not Walter White's.
I don't see them killing Kim off, that would destroy Jimmy. I don't even know that he would be able to come back from that kind of loss. She is way too important to him.
I think Kim either gets vacuum repairman'd out at some point (probably during the BB timeline) or is behind the scenes. I've felt that way for a while now.
For what it's worth, I know Nacho could be vacuum repairman'd out but I give him very low odds of surviving the show, he is in very deep.
Saul knows about the vacuum repair service somehow and the candidates are Kim or Nacho. I'm excited to see which one it will be.

Didn’t want to make a thread on this, but who’s the better character? Gus or Mike? Mike might be my favorite character of all time, any series.

Curious who is the initial contact person who knows that this guy exists that can make people vanish /arranges the vaccum guy
Man I hate Robert Forster died, that could’ve been a good scene just to have him back again

I'm betting the Vet is the hook-up.

She dead. The only way she disappears is if she goes afoul of the law and not the cartel because the cartel would come back at Saul. Also, if she is in hiding, why wouldn't she and Saul hook up again after he goes in hiding after BB.

Why would Saul know where she is after being disappeared? That would defeat the whole purpose of using the vacuum guy.
And yes, she would likely go afoul of the law because she has been using shady tactics to get court cases pushed in the direction she wants. With them about to setup Howard, that could be the time that it bites her in the arse.

From Saul in Breaking Bad, we know he has to do what he has to do and he lacks all morals (so if Kim does die, he obviously carries on). However, Saul in BCS seems like he would absolutely break if he lost Kim.
If Kim is in the mix from the shadows in BB, it could be to protect her from cartel stuff, but Lalo already knows her (as does everyone in the Alb legal community) and Gus would no doubt know about her, as Mike does. If she got vacuumed then I can see Saul carrying on in hopes of some end goal where he eventually joins her years later but idk.
Maybe coming back in color from the grey Omaha life is Saul coming out to find her and face up to everything. Interested to see if the cab driver was a coincidence or something more.

I would put the chances of Kim being dead at 0.0000001%

Agreed. I have no dog in the fight, and no knowledge of all of this crazy back and forth between theories and posters up to this point, but I love a good theory.
Very interesting situation to be in for the creators. They have freedom with new characters for BCS but are somewhat bound by the events in BB. Did someone say that they thought this season would cross into BB pre-episode 1, or perhaps show additional scenes? Or is that too much fan service?

Pretty sure we're going to have BB scenes that we see from completely different perspectives.

Because it would have been his connections that allowed her to disappear. Also, why wouldn't Saul disappear with her? We shall see but....she dead.

This is a fair question.
I can't see Kim being dead, Jimmy just wouldn't be the same and wouldn't be able to carry on as he does in BB.
With that in mind, I put together my theory, which has three possibilities. During BB, Kim is either doing her normal lawyering or helping out Saul behind the scenes or both.
Or, she has disappeared using the vacuum guy. Your question does make me think about the why of it all but I feel it's still a good possibility.

I think Saul is somehow responsible (though not intentional) for Kim's death at the end, completing the Jimmy to Saul transformation when he has nothing else to live for but his new JMM mantra.

I think what happens to Kim is the most interesting moral question in BCS. My thoughts:
1. She dies. I think this is a real possibility. It could certainly be justified if she moves forward with trying to destroy Howard.
2. She disappears. Maybe the most likely outcome. And I guess jimmy has lost her one way or the other so maybe that’s fitting.
3. She regains her moral compass and abandons Jimmy. I would have guessed this until last season. But I don’t see this, particularly after the season finale.
4. She’s in the background of BB as the brains behind Saul’s operation. This one makes zero sense to me. I will Venmo Ham Solo $50 if this happens.
But her moral dilemma is now the crux of BCS in some ways. I’m kind of over it to be honest as I have found her story to be getting tiresome over time. I’m all in on Nacho but kind of sad to see what happens there.

Anyone thinking Kim is going to die is crazy.
Even if I'm completely wrong about my theory, I can guarantee you Kim is not dead unless it happens with whatever Gene is about to do.

Rashomon effect:
The telling of the same story from multiple people, from their own perspective.
Buckle up, Kim was there the whole time.
She's going into BB. It's time to accept it.
