Considering there are only 3 episodes left, I feel cheated.
This entire episode could've easily been split among the season's cold openings

Yeah. That was kind of tough to be one of the last four.

This episode is blah.
i enjoyed it, but i see your point... totally not what i expected the episode to be about. but i think it set up the final rising drama for gene.
I think that he saw the ring and missed kim and the days of the con so he wanted to pull one off, but was rather unsatisfied. he wants his flashy attire back and is more and more ready to risk being caught again for relatively small potatoes instead of cowering in fear. I kinda want to see him try to defend himself legally, but i dont think its going that route im not sure where its heading

I thought the paisley shirt and tie were going to turn to color there at the end.
This or Kim/Walt/anyone would show up and make this episode actually worthwhile

Yeah I didn’t care for this episode
Was waiting for a WW/Jessie cameo or something at some point
Nope just carol burnett burning rubber on her scooter in the snow

He said "I'll take care of it" and he took care of it like Slippin Jimmy. They had to bring that arc to an end.
Not looking good for Ham.

That episode was final season of Game of Thrones-ish.

I'm sure this episode will play just fine on repeat/streaming but this was the 'Fly' of BCS in real time
Posted on 7/25/22 at 9:18 pm to dirtsandwich
My burning question after all of that is...why did he name his dog Nippy?

I imagine a few will claim this was awesome, like they do the Fly episode of a BB, but it was, to be frank, boring.
Even if it solves things with Gene and his taxi driver problem, it didn't need to be a full episode.
At least not that episode.
This one won't get a rewatch.

I’m willing to give the writers the benefit of the doubt that this episode was setting up the final 3.
They’ve earned it. That’s what they’ve done so well with BB and BCS.

I enjoyed the episode but disappointed since I was told Walt and Jesse were in this one.

ya the next 3 episodes are all written and directed by heavy hitters. Thomas Schnauz, VG then PG.

That was a fine hour of television.
It’s only the placement in the series that makes it a bit unsatisfying.
Will be interesting to see if we stay in the Gene timeline until the end or if we will in fact see Bryan Cranston in this as has been teased in the credits.

Whoever did the snow effects on the cars/trucks is not from the north or an area that gets snow. Laughably bad.
Episode sucked all the way around.

The episode was fine for what it was, I enjoyed it…..but all the B&W Gene openers led up to a mere blackmail scam so Jimmy can stay incognito?
K
At the end with Carol mentioning her son getting caught up with the wrong crowd in Albuquerque…for a second I thought she was going to say her daughter Kim got caught up in it too and just disappeared. But I’m sure it was mentioned that Kim was a only child at some point and I’ve just forgotten with the long break between seasons.
And Jerry/Terry/Garry/Barry has a identical twin living in Omaha apparently haha

I enjoyed the episode. Still have no idea how they are going to end this. This episode made my fat arse want some cinnamon rolls lol.

I absolutely can not believe how many people are saying that sucked.
Maybe weekly television releases just aren't for you because that was a masterpiece but maybe I'm one of the ones that doesn't think the show is only good if Saul murders Jeff in cold blood or something.
I remember similar hate towards Dead Freight for breaking bad when it came out.
