I especially liked the statements that he carried the funniest bits in the film.

That seems to be the consistent theme from everyone that works with him.

I don’t really care about actors being nice people (but I do like to hear when they are.)

That being said TJ Miller was an absolute a-hole during that part of his career. I’m glad he found himself and settled down in the last few years, but saying that RR being jealous of Miller’s career or being in more movies is absolutely ridiculous to even suggest. RR’s lowest part of his career is higher than Miller’s best.

I don’t care at all about Hollywood drama, I do think that’s an incredible example of how the brain of a massive narcissist works.

I bet Reynolds is sad that he won’t get a part in the sequel to The Emoji Movie.

The bits in the bar where they go after each other were indeed funny but by no means “some of the funniest moments ever filmed.”

Weird situation. I’ll take this like the people that said Cruise had a bit of an outburst filming Top Gun or MI:7. Feasible but the rest of their body of work suggests otherwise.

RR is a Canadian treasure. TJ could knock on my door and I would think he is trying to sell me solar panels. No idea who he is.

Just googled him. Oh he is that guy. One trick pony actor, and he is an idiot.

Just from what I've seen from both of them doing interviews etc. Reynolds seems way more likeable and down to earth than TJ Miller.

Apparently Reynolds broke the 4th Wall with him in a take calling him a talentless hack who can only play second fiddle to an A-Lister in one of their improvised scenes and even the crew didn’t find that cool thinking “what the frick?”

Breaking the 4th wall is a signature Deadpool move. I can see Reynolds trying to experiment in the scene where the two characters are trading insults for 100 takes and Miller's massively fragile ego got bruised.

Miller could never be a Kevin Hart to Reynold's Rock. Miller's vagina would bleed all over the set. Classy move to passive aggressively decline a role after not being offered it and pretending like you don't have a long history of fighting with all your co-stars.

TJ Miller was such an asshat on the set of Silicone Valley that Mike Judge was more than happy to write him off before the end of the series (and openly said as much).

On the flipside, Ryan Reynolds is pretty well known as one of the few decent guys in Hollywood despite his success. I’ve never even read about a fan having a bad interaction with him, much less co-workers. And I’ve never heard a bad word about Blake Lively either so that tracks.

This just screams Miller trying to be relevant by bagging on Reynolds.

Kevin Hart vs The Rock (youtube)

Things T.J.'s petty ego would never allow.

I'm thinking I'm probably taking Ryan Reynolds' side if there's a dispute between the two of them. I'm shocked Miller isn't dead.

If it did happen, my guess he misinterpreted the crew being not cool with it, with them being completely frozen because they weren’t sure if TJ Miller would go postal on the place because he’s a lunatic.

Or maybe they didn’t say anything because they didn’t want to ruin the take.

If they are improving, you don’t want to blow the take by having the crew laughing.

Before this thread I had never heard of this guy before.

Now I’ve read that he has had brain surgery and left Silicon Valley when sexual assault allegations came up.

After watching the video in the OP the guy is a douche. He was a dick to the guy on the far right because he got his feelings hurt.

That came out about the same time, but he was written out because he was showing up (and sometimes not showing up at all) to set drugged up and barely functioning. And Judge was tired of not being able to stick to the shooting schedule because of this one guy.

Have you ever seen Wrexham? Well there was a moment when Ryan’s kids call him and you can hear Blake in the background. Maybe it was maybe it wasn’t but it seemed genuine and made me think they are a normal family. Don’t see that a lot in Hollywood anymore.

I'm sure that was a completely unscripted peak into RR being a normal dude and great all around guy. Please.
