Releases on February 10th, don't tell your wives
I'm interested to see how it does compared to modern films in theaters, considering its ridiculous theatrical run when it first came out.
Also, wtf is going on with Kate Winslet's hair in the poster? Kind of a thrown together poster in general

Technically a re-re-relrase.

3D version came out in 2012 on the 100th anniversary of the sinking.

Cameron is going to milk this one for $2 billion by the time he dies

I don't care what anyone else thinks, Titanic is a fantastic film. An ode to a genre of films that seems to be dying out.

That's true, I forgot about the short run of 3D re-releases in the early 2010s. I saw Jurassic Park in "3D" for the twentieth anniversary. I do wish they would do more classic film re-releases though, better than most of the schlock we get today. And you're totally right about Cameron milking it

The visuals are fantastic, though. Just a yawner of a film. I've never stayed awake for the full run-time, just for the record.

Then tittays tho!

Overall, the film holds up well over time and will be another hit as it’s introduced to the younger generation. I’m not ashamed to say I really enjoyed the movie back in the day.

Can't wait to go back to the theater and sit for 3 hours thinking "will you just sink that damn boat please!". It was such a bore until the ship went down.

Hard to watch a film you knew the ending before it started

If anyone can find if it is playing anywhere near here let me know! I looked but I could not find any times near here yet. Good V day present for the wife!

If there’s a never before seen alternate ending, I’d be in the theater. Still a good movie and got me interested in the White Star and Cunard Line history.
