Just caught this on Comedy Central. Haven’t seen it in forever. This was The Office at its best! Also caught one with Todd Packer. Man this was a great show.

I always wondered if there was enough footage that they shot of that episode that they could have actually compiled the film Threat Level Midnight.

Jim Halpert 'Goldenface': Oh someones coming all right. The only man who would care: Micheal Scarn. See, I'm going to lure him here. Then I'm gonna kill everybody. Then, I'm gonna dig up Scarn's dead wife and I'm gonna hump her real good. Ha ha ha ha!

Jim Halpert: I did not love the dialogue. Or the character. I took the role to impress a receptionist, who will remain nameless

Just don't venture into the Will Ferrell and definitely the James Spader episodes

You feel pretty bad for michael for most of the episode. For as much of a jerk as he can be, he really such a good dude you hate when crap goes bad for him.

Started watching from the beginning a few weeks ago. I’m about three episodes into James Spader and I can tell I’m losing interest. Not sure I’ll make it the last 40 episodes or so.

You should. Don't let people here take that away from you.

It's not AS great as the first seasons, but it's still worth watching.

That's a stretch. My son and I started watching over the summer. He finished the last season in the past week after he moved in at LSU, but I've still got around 10 episodes left. It's a struggle, but since I've made it this far I want to finish it out. From the point where Andy becomes featured, it's tough to slog through them. I can only assume his role was expanded due to his "Hangover" success, because his character is just horrible and not funny at all.

What amazes me is that the original cast of characters is one of the greatest in the history of TV comedy - such a wide array of unique characters. Yet pretty much every character they added after the originals was a total dud. Just miss after miss. I don't understand how this happened.

By far the most expensive shot in the movie.

I disagree. The show obviously suffers when the best/focal character leaves, but it rebounds pretty well. While I agree that the entire Will Ferrell arc sucked arse, Robert California was a solid addition IMO. There are some great episodes with him in it. It also suffered once they pushed Andy's character too much, but there are still some solid hits mixed in there.

Nellie sucked, but how can you not like the addition of Clark and Pete? Especially with some of Clark and Dwight's interactions.

Also, if you've only got ten episodes left, watch them immediately. The last few are fricking great. The finale is amazing and ended things perfectly for pretty much every character. They really ended the show on a high note, all things considered.

He ruined that entire moment when the office sang the goodbye song to Michael Scott.

I liked Gabe.
I liked all of Dwight's "friends" or family members.
Hated Nellie
didn't care for Erin, DeAngelo, or Robert California, but none of them bothered me for the most part.
nothing wrong with Jo Bennett or Jim & Dwight Jr. Didn't love them, but they were ok additions that didn't hurt at all. Same with Holly and Charles Minor.

Outside of Nellie, no one was terrible. Maybe a few not that good ones, but none that were fast forward through their scenes they are so horrible like Nellie.

Nellie and Gabe were terrible.

Andy and Robert were hit or miss with the writers obviously having trouble figuring out the direction of either one.

Pam and Jim fighting was the worst of all.
