I think it's just you. I'm on a This is Us fan page and most people want MORE flashbacks. We want the backstory on Miguel and Rebecca getting together. We want more backstory on the things that make the Big 3 who they currently are.

Yes, it would have. This show usually makes you think things and then it's something else. I think Randall will find his other family thru something like Ancestry dna. That's how it currently happens and this show is nothing if not real on current times.

He didn't go back there. They showed that last week. He got on a bus and just kept going instead of getting off at his normal stop.
Maybe she goes back home and he's gone. In 1980, it could have been hard to find him.

They haven't gone over anywhere near everything that happened in their teen years. The point is that Kate has been repressing and hiding this all these year and not told anyone. It's not that she had an abortion or miscarriage. It's a very important part of who she is and probably what led to her weight problem...she's hiding who she is behind the weight.
