Patti LuPone revealed that “Agatha All Along” won’t be getting a Season 2, saying showrunner Jac Schaffer told her the fate of her character, Lilia Calderu, ahead of the show’s ending.

“There won’t be one,” LuPone told Bravo executive Andy Cohen on his Sirius XM podcast series “Andy Cohen Live.” “Jac Schaeffer, the creator, came into my trailer and she said, ‘Patti, I’m just here to tell you that Lilia’s going to die,’ and I went, ‘But I wanted a second season.’”

Sounds like her character won't be in Season 2, not that they aren't having one.

It's literally the headline of the article:

Funny how Acolyte and Agatha All Along were the second and third most watched shows but yet they both got cancelled. But Disney is doing great.

Streaming services release their own numbers, so they are essentially manufactured bullshite.

I get the feeling far more people are watching Bluey than any of the new garbage Disney has put our the last few years.

Sure. Agatha was made cheaply and its viewership exceeded Disney's, and everyone else's, expectations.

And agatha has not been canceled. It's the headline of an article that is quoting Patti Lupone talking about her own character. It's bad headline for a bad article. Plenty of other outlets have covered this interview today without misinforming their readers.

I just watched this series last week. I purposely stayed away on the message boards so it wouldn't get spoiled. Went in not expecting much. I am getting burnt out on Marvel. Was expecting a lot of woke BS.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed it.

I don't think this is a surprise. "VisionQuest" will be season 3 of WandaVision.

I don't think they ever intended to do a second season of Agatha specifically.

Smart tvs can track these things.

It was a lot of fun and better than WandaVision, IMO. I like Agatha. She was easily the most interesting aspect of WV.

AAA is WV Season 2. Season 3 will be called Vision Quest.

It’s not the last we’ll see of Agatha & Billy, but they won’t have a show centered around them specifically.

This was my understanding as well.

TVSeries Finale

What you are suggesting could be true but there are several outlines going w/ the story.

Odd, I love movies about lesbian witches.

None of them are, admittedly, Disney friendly, but still...

Got any examples? For research purposes only, of course.

When you look at the entertainment business as a whole, Disney is doing better than everyone else.

They had 4 of the top ten box office takes last year. Three of which were the only movies to top a Billion in worldwide box office. I don't think they're scraping by.

Anyone who watched S1 knew this.
