I decided to watch Wolf of Wall Street last night - it’s been a good 7-8 years since I have watched it

What a fricking masterpiece of a movie. When they took the expired pills and the pills hit was insanely crazy lol

These are the types of movies I miss before everything got so lame and woke with DEI writers.

I’m hoping in the coming years, movies get back to being entertaining again because writers and producers won’t be scared of getting canceled

Deadpool and wolverine had some pretty explicit stuff for a Disney movie for sure. Now streaming

WoWS is the 2nd most memorable "old people leaving within 10 minutes because they clearly just bought a movie ticket with no idea what movie was being shown" theater experience of my life.

#1 is Bruno. It was a showing in early afternoon. That one may be impossible to overcome.

I showed that to my dad on a beach vacation one year and he made it like 5 minutes tops.

For some people, it has an appeal similar to mafia movies. There's some glorification of criminal activity. And that works because the "outlaw lifestyle" is very appealing in some ways, at least for some people. There's the ethical corruption, or questions, that some may or may not have issues with. But there's more to it. The freedom of living outside of normal societal constraints, above the everyday rat race.

I think a lot of people felt that they wanted to get money like Jordan Belfort after watching it. If not in methods, at least in terms of numbers, or some kind of similarly atypical style.

My favorite seen is when Mad Max is screaming about all the bills.
The sides did cure cancer.
The IRS allows for T&A. T&E! That’s what I said, T&E. No, you said T&A!

I don't know why but the funniest part of that scene was when his shoe is stuck in the Lambo door and it lifts his leg up.

Reading the actual script for McCoughnahey's speech and then watching what he actually did makes you appreciate his ability to add his touch to a scene to take it from funny to iconic
