He needs to bring in some quality people. That last episode sucked donkey balls...$100 says Kirkman was working on the 4th episode in the city and tent chaos. That was phenomenal. All the ones before that either I couldn't complain about.

According to Wiki, the 4th episode was the only one that was written by Kirkman.

Sorry, that entire scene was great. It included pain and emotion. On top of that it showed a zombie just waking up, looking confused at first, and then becoming more aggressive as it became aware of what it wanted to do.

hopefully Kirkman doesn't try to do all the writing. I love the comic and his ideas, but some (if not most) of his dialogue makes me cringe. Some scenes are so akward

I agree with both arguments. I think the scene was important but just kinda lagged a little too long. I think it seems to feel like that because we watched her act like an idiot for 12 hours and hold Amy in her hands. And it was frustrating to watch her act so calm when she came back alive. I think any normal person would have freaked the f*ck out immediately and put a bullet in her right away.
That's my only complaint.

Also after reading thru about 40 issues of the graphic novel, Kirkman isn't the greatest dialog writer. I just read some pages and scratch my head...but otherwise an enjoyable read.

how would merle seal off the cab of that truck?

It's television so they would probably say that he put a few boards across the opening.

i mean if i had just sawed my hand off on top of the toll of being locked on a rooftop for a few days....the last thing on my mind for the time being would be getting revenge.

not to mention i think we would have seen more of merle at this point if he was out for revenge.

If you remember, when Rick and the other guys found the truck gone, Darryl (I think) said that Merle would be looking for revenge so they all started running back to the camp. So, obviously they thought that was a possibility for Merle to attack the camp. I just think the size of the zombie group was fishy.

I'm not saying it is realistic, but for a fictional television show . ..

You know what baffles me? When that hoe, Andrea, pulled a gun on Rick as she was watching over her dead sister. You never point a gun at somebody unless you truly intend to possibly pull it. It was a very serious implication and they did not react to it all. In situations of life and death, such as their everyday situations, acting on emotion cost lives. I would have beat the hell out of her.

Does anybody think that maybe Merle was responsible for the Zombies attacking in Ep 4?
all of that has been covered bruh, the truck didn't have any type of divider at all. of course that could be a plot hole, so you never know.

Lulz at holding the nail and hammer at one time. Merle is probably dead and will come back as a Walker what you bet.

i'm thinking he's dead also, i found it hard to believe he was able to saw his hand off, then get back inside the building, with one hand now a bloody stump, have the sense about him to cauterize the stump, THEN he gets out of the building a second time, all while never drawing any attention from any walkers.

Merle = Dead and most likely a walker.

If that's the case I can see Boondock Saint going apeshit if they see walker Merle on the streets.

IMO of course
as a super intelligent zombie leader, of course

but seriously you could be right, maybe merle is hold up in a building somewhere plotting revenge. one reason i doubt he was behind the zombie attack was because his brother, to his knowledge was still in camp. i don't doubt however, that he's following them. A cool scene would be Merle walking up to Jim by the tree, BOOM.

for the Merle leading the zombies into camp argument: Everyone keeps saying it couldn't happen because the van was open from front to back. I just want to reiterate my theory that he possibly had the zombies tailing him as he exited the city. Then he got in the van and drove slow as frick letting them tag along behind him until he got to the camp. Then once he got here he just gunned it and let them smell and hear what was going on and they made their attack. It does make sense because it was a group of about 20 or maybe 30 zombies all at once. Before that we only saw 1 zombie making it in, and since then we saw none. Seemed like 1 consolidated group and the best way for that to happen would have been if Merle had something to do with it.

I wouldn't doubt if Merle is still alive and they run into him later and he lets them know he tried to frick them. Probably not til next season though. And I'm thinking we won't see the magical negro til next season too.

Just rewatched the last episode and I have a theory regarding the focus on Andrea in the CDC in the preview for next week.

Apparently everyone is tested and then the preview shows Andrea being the focus of testing and nobody else.

My theory is that she's going to test positive for the virus due to having bathed in Amy's blood for hours but have natural immunity. That's why we see her being the focus of the testing in the preview.

Couple of other thoughts:

*Morgan is on the cast list for the finale but strangely Dwayne isn't. Wondering if this means Morgan is in the show but something happened to Dwayne or maybe Morgan gets on the cast list just for talking to Rick on the walkie talkie though never being on camera.

*The scenes in the series where there is military equipment bug me because there are never any soldiers dead or zombified soldiers and no one ever bothers to go through them for guns, ammo, radios, etc. On the walk from the cars to the CDC, they walk by Abrams, Humvees and machine guns in sandbag bunkers and don't seem interested. If they have to hold off the zombies in the CDC building and it never shows them scavenging all that stuff before hand, that's a big arse plot hole.

now that is entirely plausable.

i hope he is, Merle will be out for revenge if still alive, no doubt.

I sense a rescue of Morgan at some point, probably next season.

My vehicle in the Zombie Manifesto was a hovercraft if I remember correctly. I also threw in that my headgear while piloting said hovercraft was a Viking helmet.

Good times.
