That was what the governor shot with the tank..duh.

gotcha. didn't realize that they shot one of the outside towers, thought it was the main building since it shook the cell block rick/tyreese were in.

No. If Carol really is covering for her, then Carol dragged them outside then burned them to hide the evidence of what was probably a very sloppy stabbing attempt. Most likely she caught Little Killah (my new rap name for her) too far into the act to do anything but help her finish it

This.

Yeah, I think they over exaggerated the shockwave. But..that's tv. Governor didn't want to ruin it till we saw from his point of view in which he was disoriented..snapped, highlandered Herschel and said to hell with it all.

The simple firing of the tank could've shook the foundation of the prison pretty easily I'd think.

Also, with Herschel, I was glad they didn't just let Gov swipe his head clean off with one swing since that's not really too realistic. Glad it was just a nasty neck wond (that didn't kill him instantly). That was a pretty awesome sequence.

I won't miss Herschel too much, and will only miss him a little based on this season and the turnaround he's had from when he was pretty insufferable.

I think it's the little girl with the gun. She first looked at them as pets, which is a bit fricked. Her dad died and the woman taking over as her mother kept her at arms length (refused to let her call Carol "mom") while also teaching her to be a hardass.

I think she was feeding her "pets" until shite went down, especially the whole Carol/"Mom" thing after her dad died. I think it's making her go the psycho/serial killer route and dissecting animals is a classic symptom.

The two little girls confuse me. I thought it's the smaller the ones that looks at the walkers as pets. And I'm thinking it's the other one with the killing fixation. I dunno, I really never paid enough attention to onscreen time to really tell them apart. Really, this was the first episode that I've ever took notice of the older sister.

Holy shite! I hadn't even thought of that! Carol covering for her now makes sense as to why Carol was so uncharacteristically nonchalant about it. fricking brilliant call! And now the little killer is with Tyreese...

LOL, where you been. It's only been one of the most prevalent theories since the killings happened.

Ehh not too sure an M60 tank firing from at least 50 yards away could rattle the inner dwellings of a prison like that. I don't care though, I still like the show. Even if they do fire assault rifles with no sights on them at times.

My dad has an old lever action .22 magnum that looks just the same. I've seen .357 mags too.

I haven't been able to watch the episodes on the night-of for a while so I have been avoiding these threads since about the time of the killings. :(

You know I just realized the fridge brilliance of making the Governor white instead of hispanic as in the GN. Breaking Bad was routinely criticized/mocked because all of its villains were angry latino men. Making the Governor Danny Trejo would have fit the bs about stereotypes.

Well they were in New Mexico...I had never heard those criticism though.

As the story progressed and as Walt climbed up the chain of command there were plenty of white villains - Tod, nazis, Lydia, Walt himself.
