Anyone have any ideas who were feeding the Walkers rats?

think that they bring up a plot line involving a psycho person, may not be someone who has been introduced yet.

wonder if they will involve some other plot lines that come up while they are wandering around again, some crazy shite can go down.

agree that the girls have the baby, I also think that the sisters meet up with the group, what happened to the younger one who ran off?

the kid killing the woman was so badass.

Heh, I won't think the horde is even a subplot. It just feels more like TWD's way of reminding us just how fricked their situation is, and why safe real estate like the prison is such a valued thing.

I fully expect the rat-feeder subplot to play out fully with Tyrese and Carol's daughters.

I agree. I think it was an obstacle to the mission. The horde just isn't that big of a deal if you can maneuver around them, so now that they are homeless again...

Of course they didn't. The Governor already killed the vast majority of trained soldiers. The rest were firing blind practically.

But the core of Rick's group are all supposedly really good marksmen since they all trained back on the farm. You're telling me that Carl, Daryl, or Maggie couldn't have taken out the Gov, and the two that were running the tank as soon as the Gov sliced Hershel and before the rest of the Gov's crew could react?

Emotions were running high, people aren't the best of shots when they've just witnessed a family member get his dead chopped off. Then there is the added obstacle of shooting through a fence (really three fences to block clean shots). I can see why they too were firing wildly.

But you'll notice they were the ones to kill the majority of the guv's men once inside the fence. I think the only person to have a few good shots was the random black guy with the sniper rifle.

And the little girl with the pistol.

Terrible aim when it comes to people, excellent aim when it comes to walkers, and unlimited ammo regardless is nothing new to the show.

Daryl using a walker as a shield was a bit ridiculous though.

If it was such a big deal, Daryl or anyone else in the car would have mentioned it again or given someone a heads up.

Yeah, for never having handled guns before, they got off two very unrealistic headshots. First shot on that guy was lucky, second shot dead center on the lesbian was rather wtf.

But Daryl is boss. It gets a pass.

Judith with the little girls and Tyrese. They meet up with Carol and form a group as Tyrese doesn't know about Carol's killing spree. They eventually meet up with Rick who tells them WTF.

Thoughts?

Yep, we've been theorizing along those lines, but I think it'll come out that the one of the girls is behind the killings. Which one is mutilating rats will continue to do so on the road, and Tyrese will begin to notice and suspect one, when Carol shows up to protect them.

I agree with one of the little girls behind the deaths. The question will be if Carol throws her under the bus in the end. Doubt they throw her out of the group and it would allow Carol back in.

Awesome episode last night, and it capped off the best run of the entire series IMO. This has easily been the best season so far, and I hope the second half is just as good.

Glad to see the Gov plot finally wrapped up. Sad to see Herschel go, but was pumped when Gov pulled the sword because you knew he was gonna do it. I thought the action was great and the suspense built up pretty well. All in all, awesome episode.

The only thing that sort of bothered me was that when they stormed the prison, nobody even remotely remembered that Rick was just chilling on teh other side of that bus. That was sort of weird and annoying, but I guess they had to let Rick and Gov meet face to face somehow.

I think she's with the woman who lost her daughter and killed the governor. The car seat was unbuckled with bloody handprints on it. Her arms were covered in her daughter's blood. I think that's Ricks future love interest.

Could be. But I agree Judith is alive.

I think the recovering alcoholic (black guy) is the physco feeding the rats to walkers. He seems to be "spacey"

Just read the last few pages...how do so many people think this episode sucked? It was one of the only few entertaining ones of the season.

what was the deal with the burning tower you could see in the background? When Rick was negotiating with Gov, you could see the top of a guard tower burning. Has this been shown before? Thought it was odd.
