Why?
Because it doesn't belong here...it belongs in the other thread.

How would old comic information from stuff that already ended in the show have any affect on people's enjoyment of the show?
Well, for starters, you don't know how it will affect anyone else (though obviously certain things wouldn't, like one or two things mentioned earlier). But on top of that, it has led to more comic discussion, which can potentially be bad for nonreaders.

That doesn't mean "Some comic discussion, as long as you personally think it won't spoil anything."
It means none. And at first, Liberty was saying he didn't realize that (and the first thread wasn't labeled correctly for a new poster anyway), so NBD. But now, here we are, and he's still talking about comics in the "NO COMICS" thread. Don't you see how that can be annoying?

also as I alluded to with the tank just because something doesn't happen within the same timeline as the comics doesn't mean that something similar from the comics couldn't be used for later

What you're talking about was someone trolling you. If I say more than that you'll probably think I'm spoiling things.

Just as a general FYI, people have been banned numerous times before for posting fake spoilers.

So I shouldn't talk about how The Walking Dead and Anchorman are both set in the same "universe" and that we can expect Ron and the Channel 4 news team to show up next season with their Dodge Ram and a bunch of tridents? We might even get some back story of how they survived the zombie apocalypse with the help of Baxter and all of the bear community.

And they should be. I didn't post what he's talking about.
The problem here is apparently none of the admins know the difference between what is a spoiler and what is a troll because apparently reading the source material is only for people who can't get enough Walking Dead.

Well this is speculation but has nothing to do with the GN. We saw Merle had blue meth in his motorcycle back in season 2. And now we know that he had been in Federal Prison. And we know that Walt's empire was affiliated with Jack's White Supremacist gang. Truth in television lots of neo-nazi gangs use the meth trade to fund their "wars" against mexican gangs.
So is there any doubt that Merle and Jack were affiliated with each other?

Some of you are way more perceptive than I am.

Considering there is also a weekly GN thread I don't see why this is so hard. There shouldn't be a weekly battle in these threads about what is or isn't a spoiler. If you're illiterate, this is the thread for you. If you're one of those uppity reader types then you have your own thread. If you read and watch the show, you shouldn't have time to harass Cocomo with spoilers. If you feel unjustly accused of crimes against humanity, RA or start a thread on the help board, don't make me see this thread blowing up and wonder what great discussion awaits only to find the same old shitty back and forth that has nothing to do with the show. I don't care who started it, this happens every week and it just doesn't belong in this thread. If there wasn't a GN thread you'd have more of a case to fight it out here, but there is a GN thread so STFU when someone tells you for the billionth time no GN insight.

If you think the reader/non-reader thing is bad in these threads, just wait until GoT starts again.
