nah. this is easily the 5th thread on it. people's inability to go back and look just two or three pages and scan deserves the scorn it gets.

I'm three episodes in, it's kind of a bore. I hope the payoff is worth it but so far, it's shaping up to end pretty predictably.
Chris Pratt sucks in this. As a serious actor, he's not very good. Hard to buy him as some lethal, cock swinging commando type who's out for vengeance.

I don't think he sucks in it, but it was strained at times. I think he was perfect in ZDT as an operator who is good at his craft with a good sense of humor. And I think if they continue the series he'll have a much better chance to gravitate toward that instead of the brooding, revenge-minded guy.
Carr wrote his character that way somewhat as the books go on, but even if Pratt is a little more lighthearted than Reece in the books, I think it'll be a better fit and won't mess up the storylines much. Everyone wants to see fewer flashbacks, so having him move to super operator without too much reliance on Terminal List for his personality would be fine IMO.

Just finished it thought it was ok.
Had to watch it cause everything I heard about it included that it was anti-woke! What does that even mean or matter?
I guess because his family wasn’t interracial? His close buddies weren’t black? Or maybe the lack of a flaming homosexual as a main character?
