Looks like all 8 episodes could be up.

I said that him talking about a story from the bible was a fact. Not the story from the bible you fricking moron.

JustinBRLA is definitely a fricking moron

The first episode starts with Chris Pratt talking about a bible story. There are some heads that are gonna explode over that fact alone.
Starting now. Biblical allegory is not going to cause progressives head to explode. One of the best movies in the last 20 Years (Tree of Life) was nothing but Biblical allegory.

Two episodes in. In these early episodes they went more psychological thriller than the book did. I’m enjoying it.

I’m not hating it. I’ll say the pacing and military sequences are not top notch but it’s not Pratt’s fault.
It may be because I just got finished rewatching Parks and Rec with my son, but I keep hearing Bert Macklin for all of Pratt’s lines.
ETA: Taylor Kitsch remains one of the better actors to have not “made it.”

Two episodes in as well. I thought it's been fantastic.

Damn. It was a bit slow for most of the first episode but that ending was more of what I was hoping for.
Kinda spoilerish, but Reece going for the numerous nut shots in the MRI is incredibly realistic to how I’d fight.
Holy hell the ending was not what I was expecting. I’m all good with some Punisher style vengeance from here on out.

quote:I liked that... it's 2 on 1 and they're trying to kill you, so frick a fair fight. He also bit, gouged eyes, and otherwise did whatever he could to stay alive.

Another moment I liked, as a guy who owns some guns- the discussion on the boat about his friend committing suicide. Didn't add up, because his buddy was a 1911 45acp guy, and cause of death was GSW from a 9mm. I'm not a SEAL, but if you're into guns you recognize the 'caliber wars' commentary instantly. Boozer(sp) didn't trust the 9mm to shoot others, if he was going to off himself he won't go small at that point.
Another thing about the MRI fight, my son commented "hey, that other guy got shot, what's he doing back in the fight?" I reminded him bullets are basically pencil-sized holes getting punched through someone, not death rays. Especially pistol rounds. Dude might have been fatally wounded, but unless it's brain or spine, he may not even notice until his blood or air supply gets short.

First 20 mins = Go bags, vintage Land Cruiser, Glock, Sig, BCM, Rem 700, Kill House CQB, evasive driving, hot wiring, mention of ISR and off-grid, wrap around shades, flannel shirts, worn out ball caps, and tomahawks...
You couldn't appeal to the YouTube operator/survivalist crowd more if you tried. I'm in...
Also, was that Jack Carr himself aying the contractor that Pratt killed?

3 episodes in and I'm enjoying it so far. Knew better than to get too attached to the Land Cruiser.
Can anyone explain to me why Amazon have started filming a lot of their shows so dark. I fricking hate it. Got brightness and backlight all the way up.

I just bought the book to prepare for the show and never yet got around to reading it. Still gonna get to it, but four episodes in and enjoying the series.

I'm a fricking moron. I accidently started the series on Ep 3 and got to Ep 6 before I figured out what the hell I'd did.
I kept wondering why they never showed Pratt's family getting killed or very much of his operational background in the SEAL Teams.
Welp... Now I know. I also kept thinking, 'Damn this show is moving fast. How are they going to get 8 episodes if all these characters keep dying?'
In saying all that, you'd be amazed at how much filler really is in these shoes now. I was able to pick up every detail needed in a matter of minutes in Ep. 3.

Just finished the first episode and it was excellent. Not a book reader.

I just got through the first episode, and I was wondering what in the hell you were watching when you posted this:

Now it all makes sense. I was lost reading your post, but I bet you were really lost skipping the first 2 episodes.
