Damn shite. This is really good.

It hit me that this is basically just "The Punisher" in disguise....and I'm absolutely OK with that.
I could also do with way less of the "visions" from Reece.
Even with the small criticisms, though, I still find the series extremely enjoyable. But, like almost every TV show now, I think this would have been far better as a 3 hr movie or two.
That would eliminate all of the pacing issues.

Just finished and that was awesome. That scene where Reese confronts the shooter of his wife was brutal. And his friend knowing what is going to happen to him if Reese finds out.
This was a great popcorn series, very bingable….

The show handled this much better than the books. In the books Hartley just kind of hires him mercenary style at the very end. Him being in on it from the start and actually helping with the list knowing he would end up on it was way more compelling.

Halfway through the first episode, so far this is the worst show I've ever seen. No less than 1000 Punisher style flashbacks in 30 minutes. Hopefully, we can push through to the revenge tour soon.

I was exceptionally bored until 15 minutes left in the first episode. The whole special op was pretty paint by the numbers.
Last 15 turned around in my opinion.

Just finished. It was good but not great for me. Would give it a B-. Way to many flash back visions. Fast forwarded through a lot of them. Should have been 6 episodes. The Mexico sicario episode was really good and brutal.
So in the end the FBI dude lets Reece go cuz he hears Hartley killed herself? Yet Reece just murdered like 20 secret service guys? (Including a tomahawk to the top of Cowboy Cerrone's dome). That was kinda dumb and unbelievable.
Saw the twist coming with Ben, was just hoping it wouldn't play out that way. I'm just not buying Ben would do that to his best friend and the other SEALs. I thought Taylor Kitsch was by far the best part of the show. He needs to be in more shite.

They were Private security contractors.

Holy hell the ending was not what I was expecting. I’m all good with some Punisher style vengeance from here on ou
If you’ve not read the book, you absolutely should.

He really was. I've noticed him in Waco, 21 Bridges, Battleship, Savages and True Detective. Impressive actor. Anyone seen his Netflix series The Defeated?

Can anyone explain to me why Amazon have started filming a lot of their shows so dark
I thought something was wrong with my TV. I remember having to change the picture mode during reacher too.
Show was good overall. Flashbacks and talking to dead family could've been cut back 95%. Holy shite.
The admiral was the prisoner on con air who wouldn't put the bunny back in the box. LINK

I get the complaints about the family memories, but in the book I’d say it went in the opposite direction. He never even made it home to his family so you never felt much connection to them. Seems like the show over corrected in that regard. So I kind of enjoyed that aspect a little more than I otherwise would have.

The flashbacks were a bit too frequent but they were important in emphasizing the family loss and how messed up his head / memories had become.

I’m convinced that John Carter ruined his career. Not that I don’t like John Carter. I loved it. It’s one of our family’s favorite movies. But Disney so ruined the release of it that he’ll never become the headliner he deserves to be.

This show has to be the best going right now

Seems like he's the bad guy in everything. Even back in an X-files episode.

Finished it this AM, good but not great for me. It may just have been my general mood at the time but I preferred Reacher, which surprised me as I prefer Carr's writing to Grant's.

I just finished it. I thought it was really good.
