Loved the series and want to read the books. Do I need to re-read book 1 or can I just straight into book 2?
Highly recommend that you read book 1.

I will absolutely not defend his decision to kill the unarmed security person in the SecDef house. That was out of character for sure.
This could not be more wrong. The producers actually had Reese sparing that last guy who opened the door. Jack Carr stepped in and changed it because it was so Hollywood and unrealistic. He said that would have taken away from authenticity. He said he has heard lots of feedback from the community on how that went against the Hollywood grain but was realistic.
You don’t walk into a room leaving a live man behind you at the door. It just isn’t an option.

I know Jack Carr was involved in the show, but I enjoyed the book more than the show. Show got a little out there at times.

It is a mix for me. Some elements were improved in the show, especially Ben, while others I wish had stayed the same. Some changes were necessary. It really is amazing that the show is as good as it is, and as faithful to the book as it is. It gives me hope for future seasons, because Carr’s writing definitely improves over his series.

Flashbacks and talking to dead family could've been cut back 95%. Holy shite.
Glad to see I was not the only one pulling for Reece to die to stop all his delusional flashbacks and dead bird memories.

Bumping this to say I started Book 1 and have really enjoyed it. There is just enough difference so far to keep it interesting.

The Terminal List
My brother recommended this to me on Saturday. Plowed through the first 3 episodes last night.

very good. very violent.
I genuinely like Pratt and enjoyed him not being comedic,
albeit he shines in comedic roles more than this or Tomorrow War, Mercy, etc.

When finished go ahead and start The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, IMO it’s better than the Terminal List.

Dark wolf is definitely better, and you still get Pratt throughout the season.
The Mossad agent does it for me.

Terminal List was solid and set me off on the books which I loved. Haven’t watched Dark Wolf yet, although I heard that Raife is in it which is bad arse.

In a future season, if they stay close to the book storyline, you will really like Raif and his family!

Season 2-True Believer has already finished filming, I think it’s scheduled to come out late this year.
