Those of you with DVD box sets, you are lucky people.
This sucks. This episode is one of the more iconic episodes of the show.

An episode of "The Simpsons" that features Michael Jackson's voice will no longer air on television, executive producer James L. Brooks said. Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Brooks said he came to the decision with creator Matt Groening and writer and animator Al Jean after watching the HBO documentary "Leaving Neverland."

Despite potential criticism from Michael Jackson fans, the process of removing the episode from streaming services, television and other platforms is already underway, Brooks said. "I'm against book burning of any kind. But this is our book, and we're allowed to take out a chapter," he told the WSJ.

Do they have any Guardians of the Galaxy jokes?

Technically Michael doesn’t appear since he wasn’t billed under his own name. Same deal with Dustin Hoffman in an episode from the same timeframe.

That song still pops in my head when it’s someones birthday or I meet someone named Lisa.

i didn't even think they used his own voice. it was an impersonation under the supervision of michael, right?

Between Happy Birthday Lisa, Dr. Zaius, and Sideshow Bob singing HMS Pinafore, The Simpsons had some really great musical stuff back in the day.

Speaking voice was him. Singing voice was a stand in as some kind of in joke by Michael to his brothers.

I hope MJ didn't get to Bart too.

He definitely got to Steve in American Dad

Side note I know. But, did they ever put the Simpsons episode where Homer goes up into the WTC back into syndication?

This is some virtue signaling right there. No one would have even remembered or noticed this.

You can stream that episode.
I forgot about how anal people were with showing the WTC in tv and movies after 9/11.

I always thought his voice was so weird in that episode.

Why now
Exactly. Its not like people didn't pretty much know already. I also think it ridiculous that radio stations won't play his music anymore. Can i not enjoy Chinatown or The Usual Suspects or Great Balls Of Fire because of what the artists did?

I had a cat named Snowball. She died, she died.
Mom said she was sleeping. She lied, she lied!
Why, oh why is my cat dead? Couldn't that Chrysler hit me instead?
Also this is the episode with the famous poem.
