Sounds a heck of a lot like Curse of Oak Island. All hype, but they'll never really tell us what if anything is there.

Bugilow was scared off the ranch in the long run. No one thing did it but they kept having creepy shite happen and his attention shifted over to consciousness and life after death. They had repeatable results from their tests (still hasn’t revealed a lot about his time there), but he couldn’t get answers.
This is going to end up the same unless they have a meaningful CE5-type experience (and really, they already kinda have, already)

It's more like Ghost Hunters, with a bunch of homos bringing a lot of techy-looking equipment out to the desert and then reacting to the blinking lights of said equipment, like a bunch of summer camp counselors telling a ghost story around the campfire.

In the words of South Park, it's the gayest show in the fricking world.

Just not a fan of scripted Reality TV.

If something amazing did happen, or was discovered, we'd hear about it on social media, and not 6 months later after the events were filmed.

Bumping because it just came out on Netflix. I tend to skip History/Discovery channel shows when they air because the way they handle commercials and repeat themselves ad nauseum.

I just want to say something that seems blatantly obvious to me. They keep harping on two major points. 1.6ghz and firing rockets. A quick google search shows 1.6ghz is a frequency associated with US based GPS satellite signals.

Every time they hit something or fire a missile it causes a 1.6ghz spike. Hmm, why would something want to either jam a GPS signal, or send a strong GPS signal whenever a rocket launch is detected, or if the sensor was tampered with?

If someone was jamming GPS in the united states, wouldn't you send the military out to investigate?, maybe send a black hawk with the instructions to just check it out.

Why do Drones attached to US GPS freak out, but not when they're tuned to Russian or European GPS?

You think maybe the previous owners, bigelow aerospace, built some sort of sensors that need GPS? Add on the mystique of the Skinwalkers to avoid curious locals, put it in an area that's untouchable - the Ute Reservation.

This Taylor guy is smart. There is zero question in my mind that he knows what he's doing, but just got too caught up in the reality drama scripting. They need to abandon all this paranormal shite and portals, and make it a science show about nuclear detectors and GPS signal science.

I think there's a genuine natural phenonema associated with the site. I think the GPS signal that's being sent out is so strong, it's creating piezo-electric plasmoids that trace the path of the inmarsat satellites. It's why they can call it when they send a jamming signal, they're recreating the plasmoids.

If you keep watching, it turns into what you are looking for somewhat. They do a LOT more science experiments and really start to figure out what they need to do to figure out what is going on there. But, in the end, it is still just a show for entertainment. I am not taking it all as the truth.

Also, you may like Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch. They are next door to Skinwalker and they have crazy shite happening over there too. They think Aztec gold is buried on their property.

Yall think this is real? You ever thought that they might just be makeing all this shite up for entertainment?

This is just the aliens form of Oak Island.

I have seen a few Episodes of Blind Frog Ranch. It's the same deal. I wish they had just made a show about what's real, and not feel the need to add paranormal or legend type stuff to drum up viewers.

Its why I like Netflix, it makes it easier to pick out the actual nuggets in these History/Discovry channel shows because you can fast forward through all the repeated testimony and bullshite theories to them doing action, or skip entirely to the end episode huddle-up.

I did the same with Expedition X eps I haven't seen. I fast forward to the end recap, and if there is something I find interesting, I rewind to the pertinent part. Although ghost hunting shows are really pointless now that they've invented a whole host of technology that proves their point.

I still prefer these shows over pure reality dramas like The Deadliest Catch. While they are more entertaining overall, they're not as interesting.

You would probably like Beyond Skinwalker Ranch much better. It's pretty much all about the science then they bring their findings to the Skinwalker Ranch team to review with Travis and Eric.

I'll check out Beyond Skinwalker Ranch, that sounds like it's more up my alley.

Interesting tidbits - The production company, Prometheus, also produces Ancient Aliens, The Curse of Oak Island, The UnXplained, and Beyond Skinwalker Ranch.

The owner of Skinwalker Ranch, Brandon Fugal, is a prominent member of the LDS. He met "Dragon", the security guy, while on mission to Hawaii. (Who goes on mission to Hawaii? Oh the torture.)

I knew a man who was murdered in Hawaii while spreading the word. He had 11 children.

Spoilers... maybe?

Dragon didn't appear at all last season. No idea if he quit the ranch or just the show.

The last season got a bit more analytical and a more pronounced scientific approach, but the over-drama with "what in the world is causing this" every other voice-over is as tiresome as the constant mantra of how the treasure will surely be in the next excavation/scoop/shovel of dirt on Oak Island.

That said, I'm looking forward to the next season in the hopes they keep on that vein of more information with less drama.

The first time he says it, I get excited with him. The 10th time he says it, I'm all, bruh, there are no commercials, I didn't forget what we were supposed to be excited about.
