I just saw one ultra, ultra cringe thing on Twitter, and holy shite that’s the best you can come up with? Outright plagiarism of probably the second most famous story in the Bible where it nearly made me spit out my drink.

"Let my people go"?

Is that what you are calling outright plagiarism?
If so that's weak, and pretty silly to get so upset about.

Really wish they would have released it last weekend. Oh well I’ll watch it at some point in the next few days.

It comes from the incredibly racist accusation that orcs somehow represent black people. So to correct their own racist fantasy they’re trying to make orcs relatable and well intentioned. These people are insane, this show is an abomination.

It's kinda terrifying getting a glimpse into how you see the world

Probably the most famous spoken quote in the Bible? It is cheesy as all frick and you can tell that the idiot writers were proud of that one.

These lunatics made an entire film about black people being equivalent to Orcs and how we’re the bad guys for judging orcs. And yes the movie is god awful.

Come on man, it's Tolkien. Think of how much the Bible inspired his story/themes, especially the earlier ages. This show could be hated on for a ton of stuff, but drawing from the Bible shouldn't be one of them. If anything, that's one of the few things that was actually an ode to Tolkien.

Tolkien was a hell of a lot more clever than this though just straight up taking the quote. I’m fine with Christian literature since some of the best things ever written are such, like LotR, Narnia, and Harry Potter. But this is lazy to the point of being comical.

A quick google search will produce dozens and dozens of articles saying this and all coming from a certain type which happens to align exactly with the people who made this show.

So dozens of articles saying that and nothing from the show runners? Got it.

The Woke have been shitting on Lord of the Rings for well over a decade because it’s a bunch of white guys, not that many women (and the ones that are there are all white), and have said that the movie/book is bigoted against orcs. Again they made an entire film around this concept.

In mad kings world everyone that shares one characteristic with someone else shares all their opinions and values.

If you and Madking are both white males yall automatically agree on everything else.

Its a standard hasty generalization fallacy.

It makes it easier for dumb people to make sense of the world.

That’s a lot of projection and irony. When someone calls those things racist, insane and false it doesn’t mean they agree with it, it means the exact opposite you lowlife scumbag.
