At least Scarlet did her own stunts, whether they were CG enhanced or not,

Point is, effectively every scene is the stunt double, until those scenes.

Man who really gives a shite? Other than you! I didn't really like that they change up who Taskmaster was, but It didn't ruin the movie for me nor is it the end of the world! Grow up!!

In a world where Bruce Jenner's dick lives in a prison, trapped behind satin and beaded ballgowns, yes, for some it can blow up their entire worldview of denial.

facts =/= opinions. No matter how hard you type the word out on your keyboard while smugly smiling to yourself about how you are about to "own" that movie board poster who had the audacity to not have the same conclusion as you.

What is the point of this?

Do you want to do this for Darth Vader too, or pretty much any other action star other than Tom Cruise since everyone uses stuntman?

I don’t even mind that Taskmaster was a woman/his daughter. But then trying to throw you off the scent by having what is clearly a male in the suit is what annoyed me. That shot of Taskmaster and Nat from the side almost took me out the movie it looked so ridiculous. Probably would have been better just to make her head bigger, or played with the angles on that shot.

I got that too. I always thought SHE was Drekhov's daughter.

Every prediction video for the movie thought Taskmaster was going to be a woman. It was a poorly kept secret.

So the stunt man in the suit never once made me think "oh maybe it's not a woman".

I became suspicious when I saw Olga Kurylenko's name in the title credits but she had not shown up in the movie.

How are they throwing you off the scent? It's a stuntman, just like every movie has.
Are you annoyed that RDJ isn't in the iron man suit doing stunts?

Why does it matter who's Taskmaster, and who's the stuntman? This taskmaster is like a machine basically, so what does it matter if it's a woman or a man. In the comics they don't even say how he got his powers, just was basically born with them, you could assume maybe a mutant, and it doesn't appear they are ready to make that connection yet between the MCU and mutants.

Because the entire POINT of Black Widow is to virtue signal about how great the lead character is, a WOMAN, but also that women in general are better than men, and can do everything a man can do, but better.

Except they can't do their own stunts.

For a better , more in dept explanation -

I like them finally tying in the Dreykov’s daughter line from Avengers, but to me Taskmaster was the only real disappointing part of the movie.

So much potential to be a real threat and a potential long-term baddie and instead they made it a brain-damaged robo-cop girl.

So help me out here, was Dreykov's daughter supposed to be a friend or classmate to Natasha ? Who was thought to have died by accident in the attempt to kill Dreykov, yet now we find she's effectively a Winter Soldier type villain ?

And I swear I've seen that shot before, of the father telling his mind controlled offspring to do his bidding...oh, right. Colonel Stryker and his son, Jason. XMen2 - United

I don’t know what she was in the comics, but all she was in the movies was a line by Loki when Black Widow was trying to shake him down in Avengers.

He starts listing off all the bad shite she’d done and one of them was “Drekov’s daughter”. Just a cool detail to revisit in a later movie.

IDK if Dreykov's daughter was even a thing in the comics, but as for Taskmaster, he was a dude. That's the point.

I’d like Joss Whedon or which ever writer who came up with that line could explain the significance of ‘ Dreykovs daughter ‘.

The whole point of the movie was to introduce a new Black Widow since they killed theirs off. Hell the main character is not even in half the movie.
