Just finished episode 4. What a show. Love that they have penguin in a legitimate hole now. This writing and casting has been absolutely flawless so far.

My prediction: penguin winds up the only one standing and sofia goes back to arkham.

What I want: sofia winds up running arkham to make sure what happens to her doesnt happen to others. That way they can both stay in the universe.

Holy shite what an episode. Sofia was an absolute smoke show and the acting chops of Milioti are unreal. Best thing on TV this year, and it's not even close.

I love that we are ever so slightly deviating from a gangster family show into the comic book absurdity. I mean that in the best way. Ultimately this is about a Batman villian.

I really hope they dont throw Alberto under the bus and end the tension between Sofia and Oz. Also I know itd be cheesy, but I still would love to see mention of Bruce Wayne in some way

I think at some random point the Batman just shows up. That’s what would happen in this reality. You’re dealing with your stuff but behind scenes Batman trying to find source of new drug. You go to do random shipment one night and boom Batman.

I really admired the restraint of the director at the end/climax of that episode. He could've had Sofia dancing around in celebration as she went through the final steps (as we've seen time and time again with a superhero villain) but instead we see her just barely giving an extra, subtle twitch of her arse as she moves around.

All the critics that have seen all 8 episodes say Batman is not in it

Finished it last night, dang, what an episode. That was one of the better episodes of TV I've seen in a while. I had pretty high hopes for this one going in and it's more than exceeded my expectations. Great story and the acting might be even better.

Sophia in that yellow dress She got a body on her.

That yellow dress was almost distracting with how good she looked in it. At the same time though, who wears a dress like that to a family dinner? Not that I’m complaining, might watch the episode again just for the dress or to make sure I didn’t miss anything while she was wearing it ha

Good. This series is about Penguin, not Batman. From Penguin's view (at this point), any mention of a "Bat-man" is going to come across as ridiculous. Having the audience at that point with Oz is what will make any actual Batman appearance that much more impactful.

Before that can happen, Oz has to first struggle to create some sort of foothold over a significant portion of Gotham's underworld (to make Batman's radar as being a big enough threat). We're only in the beginning of that story.

Wut. This show takes place after The Batman movie, in which Oz has already had two interactions with Batman.

She wasn’t invited, but she still showed up, to a family dinner, with her tits hanging out. Was that a calculated move to make it even more awkward for everyone else?

I’m still not complaining tho, they were nice and I liked it.

Yes... To make it awkward and call them out for how they treated her prior to her killing them.

I’m not saying Batman should be in it but he would be a constant threat that exists in that reality.
