If you say so. Did you also enjoy black Ann Boleyn? What about the African Viking Queen in the Valhalla series?

I agree.

A movie biopic on the 0bamas -- starring Katelyn Jenner and Carrot Top shouldn't upset you or anyone else either.

I hear this argument at least once a day on here, but if it was the Banshees of Inesherin, yeah, casting Denzel Washington would be stupid. As the characters are rooted in a small ancestral Irish community.

if it was a biopic on Obama, a living person that's race was a big part of his story and narrative as the first black president. Yeah, casting Leonardo Dicaprio would be dumb.

A mermaid in a live-action cartoon remake that bastardized a fairy tale? Not really seeing what is white race necessary about that casting?

Some of those are a stretch. Jim Gordon was never a redhead. Neither was Iris West.

Why would anyone give a shite about this? Its a fictional character.

Because the changes are being made to make a political point, not for artistic expression. Its not coincidence that the stories being changed are all based on European folktales. Its not conspiracy theory; Read any literature from the progressive Left and you will see that this is quite purposeful.

2 or three, yeah

But that is a trivial objection, all the rest considered

It would not bother me. I wouldn’t watch that movie either.

Is it though? I've started watching it a few times, never make it far.

if they will do it for fictional characters, what makes you think they won’t go for historical ones next?
