Yet you called a trailer that didn't inject any of that woke.

Just admit you want to watch dudes.

Did you watch the trailer? Give us an example of the "woke content" that you are referring to. Or are you just projecting?

that’s actually a real life work place for most businesses I’d imagine after the massive DEI push since 2020.

If the trailer wasn't funny, the show most certainly won't be.

Doesn't look remotely similar in any way

Lighting, camerawork, tone seems way more serious, etc

But I will give it a shot, because what else am I gonna do?

As long as there is no gross gender shite, might as well give it a season

That was actually a decent trailer. And I like that it’s in the same world as The Office. I’ll at least check this out and give it a shot. And I’m all in for Office cameos.

My hot take is that Tim Key will steal the show. He’s hilarious. Hope he’s not wasted here.

Agree. Loved him in The Ballad of Wallis Island.

Wasn't bad, no

Wasn't funny, though

Seems to be striking a more serious and grounded tone. Not sure if that is good or bad.

I am willing to give it a shot, because the lack of . . .well, there is frick all to watch now

They announced today that all episodes will be available on Sept. 4

Peacock Will Deliver ‘The Paper’ All at Once With Change to Binge Release

quote:

The NBCUniversal-owned streamer says it will make the comedy a binge release, debuting the full 10-episode season on Sept. 4. The Paper had previously been slated to roll out over four weeks, with the first four episodes coming on the premiere day and two per week after that through Sept. 25.

Citing positive responses from people who have previewed the series (though not in print; reviews are embargoed until closer to the premiere), Peacock, Universal Television and the show’s producers decided to make the change and drop the entire season at once.

That's a weird promo shot up above. They should be talking to each other or something other than disinterested and distracted. Is this gonna be hardcore dry humor?

I’d bet anything in his first little interview in the show it’ll catch up to what he’s been up to and why he decided for a change of scenery
