the episode was straight money tonight everybody hit there marks that make them the characters we have come to love, and really felt like Pete's character shined as well. Kinda don't like how andy is such an insufferable douche now but I suppose it was needed to go in the direction of the way the script was written for this episode
I thought one of the best lines tonight was Dwight's aunts conversation with Angela
Angela: we're just friends
the aunt: thats what Mose said about his lady scarecrow and look what happened to that poor thing
I literally LOLed
also props to the manager channeling his inner Michael Scott its nice for them to kinda throw him an attaboy but i still want to see him in the Finale

Concept: what if the finale is set several years in the future and we get a "where are they now" type episode?

Have you seen the British one? That's exactly what they did

Best part was Jim calling himself a douche.

finale

Here's how I see it ending.
- Jim offers Pam a job as head of HR at Athlead, she takes it. They move to Philly.
- Andy quits to go be the music director at Cornell. (Colbert cameo)
- Dwight marries Angela the same day her divorce to the Senator is finalized.
- David Wallace makes Dwight regional manager at Dunder Mifflin Scranton. Dwight names Clark "Assistant TO the Regional Manager"
- Pete gets Jim's desk, Clark gets Dwight's. Everyone else stays where they are.

In the last part of the show, they jump ahead 6 months. They are showing the entire cast a screening of the new documentary. The whole cast shows up except Michael. Everyone is sad. Just as they turn the lights off and start the show, the lights get turned back on. Camera pans to Michael Scott in the doorway with his hand on the light switch. He then turns them back off. End of show.

I thought Clark killed it as well this episode. I really like his character.

Except Carell said that he would definitely not be back because he felt like his presence would distract from the finale. He said he already had his finale.

I'd be okay with this.

I kinda like that.

To expand on the Jim Pam thing, I think she may end up working for Athlead, and then they have it set up to where she is answering phones there (for whatever reason), and she is within Jim's sight, a la the early days of Dunder Mifflin. "Thank you for calling Athlead, this is Pam.." Cue to Jim looking at her, smiling, and then smirking into the camera.

I enjoyed last night. I was worried Pete and Alice were going to rekindle their flame.

Does anyone know how many episodes are left?

And don't you think if they were advertising this show people in the office would know and be talking about it?

yes, people in the office are going to talk about a show on camera as the show itself is being recorded. I think the fact that they put mics on them and have them do "interviews" in the conference room is good enough to show that the characters know they are being filmed for a show.

I'm interested to know which characters have just been acting for the documentary and are nothing like that outside of the documentary.
