Interstellar
The Dark Knight
Inception
Batman Begins
Oppenheimer
The Prestige
Dark Knight Rises
Dunkirk
Tenet
Odyssey is too fresh but I’d imagine it will fall middle of the pack. I need to revisit Momento and Insomnia. It’s been so long since I’ve watched those but I remember Momento blowing my mind at the time.

Fair enough, I was curious where you’d have odyssey. I have a close friend who has interstellar as his alltime 1 move but my favorite Nolan movie is The Prestige though I do like interstellar.

Did anyone else think John Leguizamo kind of over delivered in a good way in this movie. I thought he was really good.

Yeah, he did a really good job

That movie rocked. 8/10. Points deducted for not including the gods and altering Odysseus’s motives going home. But in the grand scheme of the story Nolan was trying to tell, they were emotionally resonant.

imagine taking the mythos out of the mythology. Is Nolan an atheist or something? To remove the Gods is to remove the impact and point of the story.

Every book to movie adaptation ever has had some deviations from the source material. It’s fine.

Is it really too crazy for a 13 yr old to see since rated R?

Athena was in it. I should have been more specific. Zeus and Poseidon aren’t seen like they are in the book.

No, two F bombs and that’s it. Not much violence, the blood is shown in dark so it’s black. It’s not an R movie at all.

Nope, a feminist garbage interpretation to appease his anti-west overlords.

The statue of Athena was in it. Zendaya was a delusion of Athena brought on by his PTSD and jumbled memories. She was just a girl executed in Troy while he decapitated the statue.

Whether or not the deviations are "fine" is completely subjective. I don't think the addition of a female elf to The Hobbit was a masterpiece of movie making magic, but I realize that's just my opinion.

Agreed. And I stated my opinion.

That’s not how I took it. Seemed Athena was presenting as the Trojan girl to help him accept it and move on.

None of the gods are seen or heard. They are wiped out nearly entirely. The story is quite different. Why make that change unless you hate religion in all forms?
