The biggest piece is what happened immediately after the sex and to the point where he passed out on the kitchen table with the fridge open.

Nas passed out, the other black guy slipped into the gate where she let the cat out. He misses Nas in the kitchen, just figured he left. He kills the girl, robs what he can find, and bolts.

she'll prob end up in the black guy's hearse in the gas station

the motorcycle guy wont be part of the plot, imo. Just a scene to bring some tension

I'm thinking the bug eyed black dude is a red herring. It's going to be someone unexpected.

Well Bodie didn't tell the cop about his friend during the interview.

Sidenote, preview for E2 is up.

Still wondering why the fridge was open when Nas wakes up. He made so many mistakes leaving the scene though, not even OJ could get away with that mound of incriminating evidence.

That wasn't MDMA for 2 reasons

1. It's 2014 and Lord knows everything good dissappeared in like 2005

That's a terrible reason

That very well could have ended up in his system, kind of had to since he passed out and woke up with no recollection

I found it really unrealistic that Tuturo hears nothing more than some Muslim got arrested and jumps in to be his attorney. Maybe I missed something though beecause I was reading a bit while watching it.

He finds his clients in central booking. He thought he just cut some girl with a knife like a domestic dispute, he didn't know he was on the case for a murder til after he started defending him

That was pretty unnerving to watch. You almost feel like you are on trial with Naz.

I love the cinematography in this show. It reminds me of a David Fincher movie.

Just my quick assumptions about E2. The stepfather comes off as a red herring. I get the vibe that his relationship with Andrea was neither good nor bad. Andrea clearly had a drug problem and had "many boyfriends".

I don't think Box believes 100% believes that Naz committed this crime. But the evidence is overwhelming against Naz in this situation. The prosecution will probably go with the silent dangerous muslim angle as far as coming up with a motive for this crime.

So while re watching Part 1 I noticed something. Naz is left handed and he's good at math. The former is more important than the latter. Just a tidbit that may come into play once the trial begins.

Find it odd that the stepfather lives in Queens and his leather jacket matched the same jacket as the motorcycle jacket

Is the entire series going to play out as a cortroom trial or will it turn into an investigation into another suspect? I hope it's more of a detective/defense attorney investigation focus than a courtroom trial focus.

It was dark. Most leather jackets will look the same.

I wonder if stepdad is in a bad place and would inherit the crib/money if the girl died.

ETA:unrelated, but I didn't like that actor in House of Cards and I don't like him in this.
