reddit hat discussion with pics

So the hat was there, it was just moved.

That could of happened when Naz drunkenly walked down into the kitchen or something.

But they intentionally slow panned and focused on the deer head. Maybe a camera in the eye ball because she was a drug dealer or her "roommate" was a drug dealer?

I could see her being the jilted lover of some trafficker.

Agree the camera makes a point to show the mounted deer head. I just happen to notice the hat wasn't in the same place as when they first arrive back at the house. What's interesting is having a mounted deer head in the house in the first place. Certainly screams a man lives there.

You know we analyzed every stinking thing in TDS1, and rarely did any of it matter. The natural thing is we want a show where the subtleties exist in the plot, but I bet this is not the case. Hope I'm wrong.

Anyone else curious to learn how this girl ended up with a Brownstone in a nice neighborhood all to herself when she's pretty obviously a druggie/alcoholic? She get it from her Dad who's apparently dead?

She could be from a well to do family. The only drugs on her were molly & cocaine. It isn't exactly like she was shooting heroin in the living room dude.

Agreed, but that also looked like a personal coke pouch that she pulled out of her bag, not your everyday plastic baggie. Molly, coke, beer in the cab, obviously knows her way around tequila shots. Just throwing things out there.

Judging by the trailers blood will be scraped off the deerhead (Specifically underneath the eye).

Also, by the way the rest of her apt looks. It could just be that she collects random items and doesn't exactly have a theme for her apartment. I don't think the deerhead is a direct connect to a male living with her.

The two people events/people who raise a red flag to me are. 1) the fact that she doesn't close the side gate completely when putting the cat out & the guy on the motorcycle.

I've seen a bunch of people questioning whether the hearse driver may be involved somehow. I thought it was pretty clear that he asked her if she wanted "to be his next passenger" because she flicked her cigarette out the window at a gas station. I doubt he's involved as anything other than a potential future witness.

Yeah I thin people took all those moments to be deeper than what they were

The entire night leading up to the murder was shown basically from different perspectives. You saw Bodies, the hearse driver, from the detectives, the street cops, and some scenes where Naz is on camera. All this will come back at some point during the investigation/trial through witnesses and evidence. Not as some super secret killer that nurdered her brutally because she flicks a fricking ciggerette in his direction

That whole sign seems foreshadowing of the events that were going to take place that evening. I highly doubt he has anything to do with the killing of Andrea. But, he might be asked by the prosecution to come in as a witness.

No it won't. Seeing someone walk in a house together doesn't mean shite about sex

I missed the last couple of minutes and first few minutes when I watched last night, so I rewatched those parts just to catch what I had missed tonight. At the beginning it says October 24 (?), 2014. Maybe the implication being that this is going to stretch for at least a year to a year and a half or so, and we can expect a time jump going to happen coming up. Just a thought.

Yeah. It seems most of the stuff shown was bits and pieces that will be used to build the case against Naz and also establish his defense.

Like Bodie was able to place Naz at the apartment, but also in his recorded statement he picks out Naz from the pictures after saying he just saw him being booked and calling him a raghead, which makes his statement questionable.

And the motorcycle guy just felt like a way to build the tension of Naz putting the knife in his pocket to get us to that scene in the police station.

I'd be surprised if we saw the killer in this episode.

the hearse driver

I only watched it once, but when I hear it initially, I thought he said "you are going to be my next passenger" instead of asking her. I could totally be mistaken, though. But yeah, I think he's likely just (perhaps heavy-handed) foreshadowing, a personification of Death.

Also, I think it's extremely likely were are getting some unreliable narrator here like someone else mentioned. That appeared to be the first time he'd done X, and I doubt he remembers--or perceived everything exactly the way it happened.

Speaking of him, I can't remember if he was actually asleep and woke up on the island in the kitchen or if he just came to out of a blackout. Very different things imo. He wasn't gonna do much in his sleep. However, I know too well from experience you can do a shite-ton while blacked out and have not the faintest recollection of it.

The biggest piece is what happened immediately after the sex and to the point where he passed out on the kitchen table with the fridge open.

Well sure. You've got to think he's so fricked up he even doubts himelf that he didn't do it with that time missing.

He had to have been drugged with something else. Like another post said, the recipe of coke and ecstasy doesn't equate to passing out for one and with no recollection of what happened.

No fricking way. Naz is a nice, nerdy kid who is not street smart at all. No way he did it.

That wasn't MDMA for 2 reasons

1. It's 2014 and Lord knows everything good dissappeared in like 2005

Bro, I rolled face with straight molly when I was in college from 09-13. Definitely not true

But yeah, if that was mdma and they did blow, no fricking chance anyone is getting any sleep in that house for at least 24 hours.
