Here's the thing about the inhaler - that thing is evidence.

It was on the bed where the girl was murdered.

Box can't just take it and put it in his pocket and hand it over to Naz.

Box removed evidence from a crime scene. Evidence that Stone could use in defense of his client. If Naz's asthma is so bad, how could he perform such a violent murder without an attack? If he did need to use in the middle of a murder, how is it blood free? Box used the inhaler to have inappropriate contact with a suspect and try and manipulate him without his lawyer present.

Box fricked with the crime scene and questioned Naz inappropriately - I expect that to come up during the trial.

I have sooooo many questions. I've probably forgotten more than I can remember right now, and need to watch the 2 episodes again. I'll try, though.

Let's see, does anybody else get sketched out about the brother? They've zoomed up on his face so many times. He looks like he knows something. It looks angry, and not concerned with his brother's situation. They took his computer. They've shown his face looking uninterested, with his parents freaking out in the background of the same shot. I don't trust hat kid.

So all this blood. This girl was mutilated. How hard is it to look at Nas after they picked him up and realize he doesn't look like he just stabbed a bitch 200 times? The knife they found on him looks like it was used to stab a hand. The amount of blood on it doesn't doesn't/wouldn't match a knife used in that murder. The cuts in the table should easily back his story of the hand game. Wouldn't it be easy to prove the timeline of the game then sex?

Those scratches don't point to a struggle, do they? Just sex. He most likely won't have any wounds from her.

No fricking way he killed her like that and only has a little blood on his palms. It would be EVERYWHERE on him.

What's up with the inhaler? Something is up with it. It was on a blood soaked bed. Was it bloody? Did they clean it? Would a killer causally take it from the cop after it was at the scene of a brutal murder? Was it even the same one?

Can they determine if a left or right handed person did this?

I'm a bit nervous that the show won't be able to explain away some of the evidence.

Someone earlier in the thread brought up Bodie saying he was alone as being suspicious. I think he said that as to not be a snitch. Didn't take much away from it.

Your way off base with the brother, but the whole blood thing is the first thing that I thought of. Wouldn't they examine the bathroom/shower to see if there is any evidence he tried to clean himself off, considering he was practically spotless when apprehended.

Not ne a snitch about what? That's either critically important or a red herring. It certainly isn't just something that can be passed off.

Dude is probably a poor inner city kid. He wasn't doing anything wrong walking down the sidewalk with his friend. He walked back by and tried to help a LEO and got taken to the police station. Box asked him about drugs and shite. He had to sit in an interview room or hours.

The hell would a kid in his situation throw his friend, who probably hates the shite out of cops as well, into that mess? "Thanks Bodie, you frick stick," is the best possible outcome. Losing a friend or getting his arse kicked would be in play too. In Bodie's mind, getting his friend involved in that shite isn't even an option.

How is this hard to understand?

I get your premise but a snitch would be telling on someone for doing something wrong, so I took your post as just that.

Oh, nah I didn't mean it like that. Just that Bodie didn't say his friend was with him because you just don't do that as a young inner city kid. I figured telling a cop that your friend was with you outside of a murder scene so they could bring him in would fall under snitching.

I don't think that falls under "snitching" at all. But I also don't think people openly tell cops everything they want to hear.

Also, I don't think Bodie classifies as a "kid" in this series.

Id bet it was a different inhaler. Box is not that stupid. And the camera never showed him picking it up, right? Just him seeing it?

This is exactly what I told Mrs. Mule. I got a DWI in college (huge mistake I know) while driving home from the bar. The language, the flow of the processing area, the side conversations and general behavior of the cops and other inmates. All of it rings true.

I told the Mrs the same thing. The only difference was the trip to parish jail from the holding cell I was shackled to the rest of them, not just cuffed to one guy.

Things that have stood out to me through two episodes:

Ep 1

Her stating "I can't be alone tonight" stands out to me. That clearly showed something was on the verge of going down with ol girl and Naz was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I thought about that. Question is, what does it tell Box? Confirms he was there? I don't think it really does anything for exonerating him, does it?

This may have already been discussed (I'm not reading 11 pages), but does anybody notice the plotlines borrowed from the Adnan Sayed case?

- Pakistani kid who has never been outside the US
- denied bail due to being a flight risk
- talks to cops because he is naïve
- overwhelming physical evidence against him
- has no memory of the day/night

I agree thus far

that scene was a red herring scene to get us talking

The killer is either Naz or someone we haven't seen on amera, I bet

Yeah, he seemed a little pissed when he said it was her house, got it from the mom. I'm guessing her mom was a sugar momma to him.
