That would be great but doubt Disney would bring her in and unless they can connect with Thrawn

If they give Thrawn credit with establishing the First Order, then her role historically as Emperor's Hand would dovetail nicely with its creation, particularly if they're gonna make us live with those retarded Palpatine clones/Snoke.

Mando's lines are so cheesy at this point This season seemed pretty dumbed down in general, i dont know.

Maybe its too popular with adults and they need to bring in more kids?

I was fine with the season but this is 100% the vibe of the show by the end of this season. From Gideon’s super cheese, mustache twisting villain dialogue and delivery to Mando shift to soft dad good guy.

For example, in the scene with R5 he said something like “good job buddy” like 3 times in like in 5 minutes.

It’s fine since this show was never hardcore or anything but you can definitely see it being kiddied up a bit more.

R5's high maintenance. Didn't you realize this in his prequel film, A New Hope?

I'd rather Yssane Isard.

We still don't know how Maz Kanata got Luke's blue bladed saber. If the sequel trilogy didn't have more than enough to piss me off, no payoff for that tease in TFA was one of the worst.

Darth Kennedy delivered it to her as she knew one day Rey would show up. At least that would work for Disney canon.

Oooh, I'd totally forgotten about Iceheart. She would make an excellent baddie for the misbegotten Rogue Squadron movie.

That’s actually a fair point.

It was very distracting. That and growing the clones to his 60 year old self made no sense.

After this season, I’m convinced that Grogu is the Mandalorian.

Maybe at some point. I have read speculation both here and in other places that the show title The Mandalorian isn't referring specifically to Din Djarin. In the future that may be true, but I think right now it is (and has been referring to him).

My reason is that if you watch with closed captions on, any time he speaks, the caption is prefixed by "The Mandalorian" and not "Din Djarin".

One of my favorite, ridiculous stories from the EU was that R5-D4 was the first Force-sensitive droid. "Skippy the Jedi Droid" was what they called him.

IIRC, he uses the Force to cause himself to malfunction at the Lars homestead, because he knows that R2 has the Death Star plans and that they need to reach Obi-Wan to have any hope for the Rebellion to continue.

This show, man I swear. Disney is 3 seasons and still hasn’t figured out to capitalize on the Grogu character. Perhaps it’s because his entire premise is flawed to the point that his character can’t grow. I can accept that his species can live 900 years, but a 50, 60 or 70 year old 1 ft toddler with zero ability to communicate and a baby sitter seems like worst possible way to survive centuries as a species.

Kennedy has already announced he will be a focal point of his own moving forward and I believe to the big screen.

Disney is going to milk him for another 850 years or in media for another 100 years if they can.

Maybe that's why there are like three of them.

Why? All he has to do is put in some controls that make the clones fully subservient to him and then he can send them out one at a time to do his bidding while he stays safe at a base. If one gets hurt he can just recall him and send in a new one. As long as he keeps only one Gideon in service at a time nobody would have any idea he has clones. After a while everyone would be so scared of him he wouldn't even need security and OP Gideon could just live in a palace somewhere w/everyone bowing and scraping to him. shite even if they did find out he had clones nobody would be able to tell them apart anyway so he'd still be pretty untouchable at that point.

It would be pretty ridiculous if Gideon managed to survive somehow, but I really wanted Grand Admiral Thrawn to be the one to take him out, as well as unify the various Imperial forces represented by the Shadow council.

He’s going to end up being one of Rey’s students. With the time jump, he’ll be around 90 by then and they’ll have him talking and wielding a light saber and credit the great Jedi master Rey Skywalker for being the one who trained Yoda’s son

I was hoping Gideon would escape. Be saved by his people and Thrawn would show up and destroy his ship with a Super Star destroyer.

Ok, had a rough, busy month and was three episodes behind. Started with the Jack Black Lizzo show up until last week.

WTF have they done to this show? It went from 0-100 real quick on the suck scale. Feels like I’m watching a bad Saturday morning cartoon. I don’t know if I can watch this anymore. Sad.

Finish the season and see if you still feel the same way. The Lizzo episode was truly the low point, but it does get better.
