So I liked Ep 3 
I was right about the story being revealed in layers over time, and that Numenor would have historians etc. And then we also get some exposition from Galadriel, which reveals even more- she directly names the Noldor, and Finarfin. Obvious counterweight to those- you will have the Sindar, and the conflict between the House of Feanor and the other Noldor will also come to be revealed.
For the dude that complained that Numenor should have a King, and not some female Queen... don't worry, you're not the only one with that enlightened opinion

Tolkien even described in intimate detail the racial differences between the Numenoreans and other mortals in the Tolkien universe, particularly them being grey eyed. Now we are to believe the Numenorian monarch was not only female but black

The message of Tolkien was clear when Gandalf told Frodo that Bilbo's pity of Gollum was the key to the story. Gollum was an twisted creature, full of malice. And yet, decency toward him was the only reason that Frodo was able to destroy the Ring and complete his quest.
Gandalf told Denethor, in reference to Sauron, "I pity even his slaves."
If someone thinks that the proper response to disagreement is to curse that person, then they are no fan of Tolkien. In doing so, they serve evil.

All I can do is pity those who are so small minded, fragile and racist that they would destroy a literary work of as perfect as Tolkien. It's very sad.
