#StarWars: The Last Jedi is so beautifully human, populist, funny, and surprising. I cried when one POC heroine got her moment because films like these leave their mark on entire generations -- and representation matters

Not getting too excited, yet.
like others have said Suicide Squad and BvS were freaking citizen Kane according to early social media reviews
We all know Finn will suck but you can't say that publicly or you will be called racist. Super pumped. Having to wait until the 20th to see it.

Again, those weren't critics. You didn't see THR, Variety, Forbes, etc raving about those films.

Exactly.
There were three or four legit critics that were there that, while they had some nitpicks, admitted they loved it

As good as The Force Awakens; Rogue One is better!
Worst thing that could ever be said about a Star Wars movie.

My gosh what sludge.
She must be talking about the new Asian chick

Finn and Captain Phasma are lame as hell and serve no purpose to the story.

Phasma was a cool addition they just didn't use her
But I agree I don't get Finn's inclusion

Bc it’s retarded and reflects a mindset that encourages racism and divisiveness

How did she escape Starkiller Base?

The limited spoilers I've read, if true, have me really bummed out about this film. Like wtf? kind of bummed.

Have a feeling this movie will be more of the same garbage as Force Awakens.

In the least spoilery way possible (and I mean basically not at all; I knew about Han getting killed before the last movie and want to come in to this one fresh) can you explain what you mean a little bit?
Are you disappointed that the movie is too derivative and followed the Star Wars pattern too closely; or did it break from it too much and was jarring?
Or was it a twist you were disappointed in? Was there something too predicable, or something that you didn’t see coming and don’t buy? Can you explain a little more without giving spoilers?

Or just don't worry about his opinion & form your own after seeing the movie. I will never understand people's reasoning for reading spoilers for anything before seeing it. That takes away from the entire experience (good or bad).

Just asking a question dude. I do like to read reactions without getting spoilers; who cares
