I still don't think nothing is going to change Disney's path.

It's not art to them.

It's toys and pandering to every group out there.

And that makes bad movies. When things are inserted for other reasons beyond storyline...you get a bad storyline...and the audience isn't stupid, they see it...and the minute you see it is the minute you check out becaUse you feel like you're being treated like a fool or sucker.

Yeah Disney was saying you have to see it 2 or 3 times to really get the value out of it. It's one of those movies where the more you see it, the better it gets.

Give Disney all your money now.

First viewing I was very apologetic towards it. Second viewing I hated it. Wasn't able to gloss over the flaws after that.

Records continue to be smashed for TLJ.

Now down to 48% on RT.

The average rating turns out to be skewed positively in some respect. Supposedly they discard ratings of 0.5 stars (the lowest included in the average is 1 star) but include 5 star ratings in their average.

Blade Runner 2049 is at 81%.

Meaning, it's 2018, and the audience score is still a terrible indicator.

TLJ could be at 0% and it'd still be better than Blade Runner 2049.

The audience score at Rotten Tomatoes doesn't change the quality of either.

That's why it's interesting. I've always thought RT audience scores were overly generous. There's either a big conspiracy or something else going on for a Star War to get bashed like this.
