I had completely forgot about it, but is Arya's sword still buried by the front door of the temple?

Nope. She took it with her.

I don't remember her taking it out yet. But I have not finished my re-read of ADWD.

I've heard this Edric swap theory before, and assumed this was the real Aegon Targaryen swapped with Ashara Dayne's baby (that Lorch slammed against the Red Keep bulkhead), the cause of her to commit suicide at Starfall.

Not sure the years/ages match up, if he were milk brother w Jon Snow....unless he and Snow are only a year apart or so...breastfeeding can be a lengthy process as Lysa Tully has demonstrated...

Speaking of Wylla...who is this chick w the same name at White Haven? The one so devoted to Ned and the Starks...She's too young to be the Wylla, but...what's the point of her at all?

I kept thinking she took Needle out and left. God knows where I got that from because she didn't do it in her last chapter in Dragons. I hope dementia is not setting in with me...

Last mention I see of Needle it is still in a crack in stairs at the House of Black and White.

I don't remember her taking it out in 'Dragons...

Speaking of swords...I was confusing Lady Forlorn with Dark Sister in my earlier post. Lyn Corbray's sword.

stick with the R + L = JS theory. Makes more sense

Yeah, it does. I just like to come up with crackpot theories in between books. 5 years is a long wait.

As much as GRRM likes to screw with us, even that seems like much.

Har! Don't get me started on my theory that Willa is a red herring. With Jon's mother really being Ashara Dayne. Thus she jumped from the tower because her son was taken away, rather than because of Ser Arthur Dayne's death.

quote:

Where do you guys see the Stark daughters ending up?

All of the Stark's destinies are tied to the names of their wolves. Arya seems somewhat straight forward, as her wolf is named Nymeria, which is a warrior-queen tied to House Dorne. My guess is that she becomes united with Dorne and ends up as their assassin of Lannisters in Kings Landing. (Thus answering her own prayers).

Sansa's wolf is named Lady. But what house does she become Lady of, and to which husband? I think that Little Finger wants to associate with House Targaryen. My best wild guess at this point would be that LF may use Sansa to unit the North with House Targaryen through the recently returned "King" Aegon.

About Sansa/ Lady... I don't think it can be discounted that Lady was killed by one of their own... A Stark...

I can't put anything together for Grey Wind. Maybe it has something to due with what's to come?

Since Robb's fate was sealed by the Fray's, my guess it that it has to do with their house. The Fray motto appears to be unknown, but one of their colors is grey.

I really have nothing here.

Oh Wow!

There are some many ways to interpret this.

"Lady" was killed by the father figure of the family.

Now Sansa, the "Lady", has Little Finger as her father figure. Could LF be Sansa's killer?

So Jon would be blood of the Sword of the Morning...would his learning this be "When the Sun (Son) Rises in the West" per the maegi?

nice...so that would mean Dany could possibly have a child. That would make things interesting.
