Love this show.
The wife (no pics) and I watch it, and will watch the replays when they're on TV.
I always joke with her that the show has zero tension to it. Every problem gets resolved almost immediately.
"Oscar was swindled out of the family fortune, and now we must sell the house"
"OH NO!!"
**30 minutes later**
"It's ok, Uncle Luke was a secret textile millionaire, and now we're rich again!
"Hooray!!!"

It's something Julian Fellowes has imported from Downton Abbey. We've lost Downton but Matthew's just inherited a fortune so we can stay! Edith has lost everything but her estate agent has just inherited a title, a castle and a fortune- and he wants her back!! 
It's a a silver plated Soap Opera and it's deliciously served!! 
The new season looks fun. Looking forward to Oscar and Enid and their hijinx.

Agreed about the tension. It's more of a "visual" show for us when we watch. I guess almost like Entourage? Don't worry everything works out and we are all still very rich.

It’ll be interesting to see how they handle the Russell’s and Mrs. Russell gets the Alva Vanderbilt treatment.
