Those two had his wife killed, attempted to kill him, attempted to have his family murdered in their home and his godchild kidnapped and given away.

He tried to wipe out his entire family tree and this isn’t the first time he’s told Eddie he wanted him dead.

I have to wonder if the mom knew the full extent of everything he’d done whether she would’ve still demanded Eddie let him walk away?

I get he didn’t want to lose his mom over it but the van wasn’t a solution.

Am I the only one who has become annoyed by Stanley Johnston? Giancarlo Esposito does the character to a T but still… we learn early on of his designs on buying the manor, but then sells the debt to Bobby Glass? That didn’t make any sense. He’s not getting any younger, so any multi phase long game with him ending up owning that land doesn’t seem like it’s going to play out anytime soon.

The fate of Eddie’s wife came across very Peaky Blinders like. Hated seeing both of them go.

Two episodes into S2. Really good so far.

Definitely giving Edwick the Michael Corleone vibes this season.

I need more Freddy. When he called and was talking to his sister about them coming to visit..." I should warn you, Charlotte, I'm a little different. I don't mean I've got two new tits and a secondhand foofoo." I was dying.

Just finished episodes three and four.. He's the godfather to his nephew and getting christened in a church while just committing some pretty awful deeds. Doesn't get much more imitation Godfather than that

Bobby Glass dude is a great actor, he was a great villain in Cold Mountain, but I'm about ready for him to be replaced. I think. He might get killed off and as the show goes on think it's missing Bobby Glass but for now his weird visions and random decision making is getting a little annoying.

The falcon episode was so great. The bodyguard: "I take my job very seriously. I am named Aslan. Like the strong lion from the movies."

Wow, they are kind of hitting you on the nose with the Godfather stuff now.

As soon as he proposed to the Italian girl I knew she was going to die. I thought they might do it in the season finale but once they started racing in the Ferrari vs the airplane and it was this happier than ever scene I was like O God here we go. Then boom.

I LOVE this show, but I feel like they need to dial it back with the Godfather rips, it's getting to the point of it being predictable.

Hopefully Bobby wasn't dumb enough to be the one who rigged the plane (not sure how he would have known she would take some random plane anyway). That would certainly start a war between Marco/Edward and the Glass'. But that war would follow the Godfather themes so maybe.

My only complaint about this season is it really needs more Freddy. He was arguably the best thing about season one so having him locked away in a rehab center is a bit of a waste of a great character.

I believe the actor had scheduling issues so they had to cut down his role
