Finished episode seven which was intense and felt like I was playing call of duty or something. Had a feeling Geoff was going to die but glad he didn’t. He’s a great character.

What a season. I had honestly forgotten about Gospel John. He was a c u n t, glad he's been separated from his head. But letting Freddy live........idk if that wasn't a thing that could come back to haunt his grace.

If Mommy wasn't around, Fredo would have gone fishing. Eddie Corleone might end up like Tony Montana if he stays on the path he's on. The Contessa dying on the honeymoon was very James Bond.

Just finished S2. I thought it was amazing television. Eddy is turning into what I hoped he'd be, albeit through tragedy, betrayal, and getting the shite beat out of him and being buried in a shallow grave. They say whatever kills you makes you stronger, and this is that in spades.
And Freddy is turning into...can't wait til S3 to find out just what that will be.

Very good episode. Nanny is an underrated character.
I think I might like the car theft episode from season 1 and maybe the falcon episode from season 2 a little better but that was a great episode. Really I can't think of any episode that was a miss.
I might have liked season one slightly better now that it's marinated for a little bit. I just enjoyed the side quests that each episode seemed to have. You have this overall story but also each episode had a "Hey I need you to take care of this problem for me" theme too.

The only nit I could pick is that he's a bit ham-fisted with the Godfather references. That might be an age thing.

Just when I started thinking Vinnie Jones hasn’t been highlighted or utilized much this season…. Boom… that episode happened.
