WTH does that mean, any comic book insights?

They changed his emblem this season from red background, to a white background to make it more like the comics. Grant is pointing out that for some reason they are going back to the red background. I can't think of any relevance from the comics though. So what that signifies, I have no idea.

There was a picture of Grant Gustin and his stunt double filming together for this episode, so you would initially think the red emblem is Season 1 Flash. If it isn't, then current Flash just put it on to fit in more.

Kind of disappointing filler episode after the Jay/Zolomon/Zoom reveal before the break.

One thing that caught my interest was Cysco's vision about Zoom being in a room in a somewhat confused/vulnerable state. He had the vibe, I believe, when Snow was mentioning or holding the V-9 formula.

Anyone have any thoughts what that was about??

You'd think most kids would say, my dad would do anything to protect me, and love them more.

But the writers want to have some dumbass teenage drama like we are watching pretty little liars.

If this is who she is going to be, then keep her arse in Opal city and forget about her until she gets a brain.

Since it appears V-9 gives a person a split personality, my guess is Cisco saw Jay having internal struggles with his split personality, Zoom. Much like they showed earlier in the show with Trajectory.

Ok that makes some sense but does that imply that his 2 personalities actually split into 2 different people?

Your forget Jay is an experienced speedster. We've already seen the reverse flash be in two places at once. Not too far fetched to think jay could do it too. Cysco said this in the episode as well

Who knows with this show, but I would think no. I'm thinking the Jay we saw killed was either a doppelganger or a shape shifter that worked for Zoom.

We knew who Zoom was after the last episode, this episode revealed who Zoom is to the characters.

Plus if this is the storyline, split personas, then it revealed that Jay may have been a manifestation of Zoom. Didn't Zoom have some V from Wells? Might explain why Jay would "disappear" into the basement, etc.

Just caught the ep and I'm growing more confident in my theory by the episode.

You may like her better as speedster Jessie Quick
in a few episodes. ..

I really hope we don't get saturated with Speedsters. It was about this time in arrow where everyone started to become amazing with a bow and developed assasin skills.

The saturation of speedsters is already here.

What I don't see, so far, is all the references to Arrow.

IMO The Flash is still solid every week.

I don't think he would have said "This complicates things" if that were the case.

Flash Back

Flash goes back to season 1, encounters a wraith

If he's going fast enough to travel back in time isn't that faster than what's needed to jump the canyon last week? Much less fast enough to time travel but needs to go faster???

He has to be able to go fast enough to change the frequency in which he vibrates. Remember that he's trying to create a breach into Earth 2 (which is how he accidentally ends up in Supergirl's Earth).

Forgot about the frequency / E2 angle.

I'm going to have to catch this episode later because of the game.
