The lengths you're going to try to convince everyone that this movie is bad is alarming.

Not as alarming as how worked up he gets over the character of Ariel in the little mermaid.

Have you not seen the cat movie with Kevin spacey?

I saw the emoji movie with my kid today. I passed out for the first 15 minutes then watched the rest..... the cat movie was way worse.

Mr Kroger, 2 Cs, 2 Ds, and an F. That's a 1.2 grade point average. Congratulations, Kroger, you're at the top of the Delta pledge class.

I had no idea such a thing was possible. Now I'm kind of interested to see this just to see how terrible it is and what made it get zero.

I don't know if it's the red hair, that she's 16 or the half fish thing, but something about her really does if for me too.

It's an animated movie and parents are always starved for something to entertain their kids. I'd be surprised if any animated movie, regardless of how shallow and shitty it was, ever actually flopped.

Then obviously you don't know much about the budget of animated movies. Plenty have flopped. Pixar's "The Good Dinosaur" flopped for instance.

Granted this ones budget is fricking pathetic, because it's a total piece of shite. I guarantee the marketing budget is higher than the production budget.

I guess nobody bothers, has time or cares about reviews anymore. Fake news.

This will just encourage Hollywood more and more and more - to idiocracy. And people wonder why Hollywood actors are so smug and treat the public like idiots and condescend to us - look at the data they live their lives by.

The family went to go see it because my daughter had been asking since the first trailer. It was not a horrible movie.

The movie barely focuses on the actual people. It is far more about "being yourself" than how technology is effecting people.

It does nothing well, but my kids laughed and enjoyed themselves. This is not a movie for adults, but purely for kids. We've come to expect more from our kids movies but this one doesn't deliver on it. What it does well is appeal to young kids.
