The budget of the film was $320M.

How does this happen?

What a disaster.

Russo Bros should be arrested for crimes committed against the film industry, add this movie to the list of charges

I know it’s not perfect for the books but Gray man is close to my favorite S2S movie. Especially on Netflix.

I think people jumped on the bandwagon of hating The Grey Man like Bright. It wasn't great, but wasn't bad like everyone tries to argue. It was fine.

Russo Bros outside Avengers films make dogshit.

I also cannot remember a film Netflix has released in years, if not ever.

All their movies also look like shite, visually.

I like Cherry, Extraction, 21 Bridges, You Me and Dupree, EEAAO, and (as above) Gray Man.

I don’t think this will be Citizen Kane, but I have high doubt of it being that bad.

Per the usual, I'm not up on the source material with this one, but the trailer looks decent enough. Unfortunately, the early reviews are coming in and it's not positive.

Now, it may be a case where fans of the source material aren't thrilled, but there does seem to be a bit of Millie Bobby Brown blowback. Not sure I get that. Yes, she's said some cringe worthy stuff and all, but not to the level of Rachel Zegler or some others. I get that she's done some lesser things outside of Stranger Things but she's not a show killer, at least so far.

I'm still on board until I see what all the fuss is.

Their filmography doesn’t seem too bad when you give them a Best Picture winner, but EEAAO was written/directed by the Daniels and only produced by the Russos. I’ll give them credit for writing Extraction though. Easily the second best movie in that list.

Gray Man was shite. Extraction is good but it’s just nonstop action with an extremely simple plot.

The Russos are terrible at their own ideas. What they do well is managing large casts and seeing thru someone else’s creative vision.

I'm pretty into the genre but I didn't like Gray Man or the Extraction movies.

I guess I'm just not into the Russo Bros at all

First hour in, and so far, I’m liking it well enough. Pretty much on par with what I was expecting, a mix of Tomorrowland and Ready Player One.

Chris Pratt is doing a pretty good Chris Pratt … kind of a TEMU Star lord character.

*Follow up*

I gave it a I hadn’t even heard of this story before the Netflix previews. I don’t know what people were expecting, other than it probably pails to the source material. But as a standalone movie, it does pretty good. Far better than that Rebel Moon trash or some other things that have come out recently.

I thought the movie was good. Gave me small snippets of a lot of movies... Toy Story, Ready Player One, A Bug's Life, and AI. It was funny and tons of good actors had parts. I thought the CG was good. Great 90's throwbacks. Wasn't woke, just a good all- around movie.

Yeah, it wasn’t woke, it didn’t change the world either. Just a normal humans team up with robots to take down the bad guy story.

Millie Bobby Brown did an ok job too. About the worst thing i can guess some say about this is that it was short on explanation of the characters and their backgrounds and motivations. Seemed a bit generic & simple but not distractingly so.

3 DVs with no replies or follow up? OK.

Guess I'll go back to just posting YT vids then.
