I don't understand the gaslighting. There are plenty of logical takes on a show that clearly has an agenda:

- Yeah, it has an agenda but I largely agree with the agenda so I like it
- I agree with the agenda but would rather they keep it out of my entertainment
- I don't agree with the agenda but it's not enough to affect me enjoying the show
- The agenda is so blatant it makes the show unenjoyable

But the outright denials that it's even happening are comical. They've spent all 3 episodes (mainly the last 2) talking about white people, their privilege, the unfair struggle, blah blah blah. Hell, they even dragged an alien into their bullshite and black-splained to her.

Did he watch the interview? Probably not, they never do, they just parrot their wares. She admits to everything he’s denying and worse. “Hero’s don’t need morals”, she’s visibly excited and triumphant when she says “he literally gets to take it from Hal’s cold dead hand”, she says “Hal robbed John Senior” even though we know that didn’t happen. So she hates Hal, the interview makes that clear and Hal’s death is a great thing to her. And people like JR always remind me of what this activist, fed judge who was being confirmed a few years ago wrote. She said “we need to work hard to maintain the appearance of objectivity until we are able to do away with it all together”. So when JR argues just know that it’s never merit based, morals and truth are the furthest thing from their objective.

Very solid episode. No more flashback episodes, just give us Hal and John trying to figure things out. My only criticism is what's up with the nudity? It's the second time we're seeing naked men. It's completely unnecessary

Man, I know beauty is subjective, but them trying to portray Macon's wife as hot is wild to me.

If they nail the rest of the season, it'll just be a blip on the radar. I just hope we see more of Chandler as Hal Jordan after this. He's awesome in this role.

Yea she’s just not pretty. Has a legit clown nose. John could be railing 10’s not some grandma who looks like a guy from Goodfellas.

But overall really good episode after a giant turd if an episode.

Doesn't the writer and cast go around on podcasts talking about how she intentionally wanted to provoke race, privilege, and question if it's even possible for a black man to be fearless because it's so terribly scary to be black?
