Especially when compared to its predecessor. Tom Hardy did a wonderful job, but the whole plot of the movie was atrocious and full of plot holes.

Nolan didn’t really want to do it, at least not with the same fervor that he wanted to do The Dark Knight, especially after Ledger died. He obviously intended for the Joker to be the villain in Part 3. He basically telegraphs his intentions for the third movie with the Joker’s monologue about how he and Batman were destined to continue fighting in TDK.

If it’s bad, it’s the good kind of bad. It’s really only disappointment next to TDK. Just an incredibly fun film.

Didn’t he say they had the end battle in front of the court house planned from the beginning?

Bane was cool but just couldn't capture the magic of The Joker. It wasn't as good as Batman Begins, either.

It's still an ok movie but I remember how disappointing it felt to go out on the low note of the trilogy.

Hardy's protrayal of Bane was a far more menacing villain than the Joker. He actually destroyed Bruce Wayne's world, while Joker was nothing more than a thorn in the side of the establishment.

Hardy just mumbled his way to a terrible Connery impersonation. It’s a terrible movie all the way around.

I think it was okay. One of the things that really takes me out of it is all the background extras looking directly into the camera. It is nuts. And the choreography of big fight scenes with large groups of people. Awful.

Terrible is too strong. It’s still has some great moments.

It was going well until the third act. Changing Bane’s origin story to remove him crawling out the pit was a poor decision and under-minded a great villain.

Additionally the whole Robin storyline was unnecessary and would have needed to be the main plot line instead of a side plot to work.

The whole movie lmao. I’ll just point out how Batman magically recovers from a broken back, gets from Asia to Gotham City in time to save everyone conveniently right before they die.

Wayne traveled the world for years as a castaway without money before becoming Batman. It’s shown in Begins; surely he could find his way back to Gotham.

You realize that he breaks out with 3 months before the bomb is set to go off don’t you?

There is a timer on the news station and TV in his cell
