It’s supposed to drop at 2 AM CST if my info is correct.
This season may have big starring roles for PM Thatcher and Her Highness Princess Diana but at its very core, this series is still a story about Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth.

I know there were some people that wasn't crazy about Olivia Colman as Queen (I enjoyed her performance).
She's absolutely MADE for the shite she's getting ready to endure in Season 4.

I still can’t get over that line she said to Charles last season about how he has a voice and the Queen said no one wants to hear it. Family in private or the general public.
That was cruel and something a mother should never say to her own son. Really drives home the point that what Charles had for parents was a stern and distant father and a Queen.
He was shocked to watch his teacher and his wife tuck their son into bed and tell him a bedtime story. He saw real parenting for the first time in maybe ever.

Masters weekend and crown. Nice.

I'm a couple episodes in and PM Thatcher has a valid point about the snobbishness of the upper class.
The Queen Mother seems like the worst offender in that regard as she is a complete stuck up bitch. Prince Phillip is up there as well.

I am no royal historian so I don't know how accurate this season is with the Charles-Diana-Camilla dynamic, but holy crap did those two do Diana dirty. She was completely blindsided by her fiancee's relationship with a married woman. Not only that, but Camilla decided to rub it in her face over a dessert lunch. Despicable.

If I remember correctly from Diana’s interviews she did around the time of the divorce, he cried on their wedding night over Camilla.

She’s got nothing on Margaret. I think the Queen Mother is at least somewhat self aware but acts that way because that’s just how it’s always been.
Thatcher.

Who knows what's true, appears Diana flirted her way into the Royal Life and once there decided how big of a mistake she made.
Once she had the two kids there was no way out.
I'm sure if she could do it all again she never would have left the flat she was living in with her friends.
Probably had affairs to spite Charles on purpose.
Tried to do as much good as she could to make sure she stayed in good graces with all the people that adored her.

I think it's self-preservation coping mechanism for them.
They let in a "common" outsider like Wallis Simpson and she damn near took the monarchy down.

On a side note, I've seen some folks elsewhere mention that weren't sure how accurate Gillian Anderson's Thatcher impersonation was.
Her voice work is INSANELY accurate.

They did. You should look up the transcripts of phone calls between Camilla and Charles while he was married to Diana. I believe it came out during their divorce and separation stuff. It's pretty detailed and kind of gross.

There's a lot of talk about Gillian as Margaret Thatcher.. but watch a little bit of lengthy video below and notice how much Emma Corrin resembles Lady Diana. They both nailed their roles I think.
Also this video depicts how awkward Charles and Diana's relationship really was.

Agree....I feel like she nails Diana’s mannerisms as well.
ETA: all in all they have just done an outstanding job in general in casting for this show.
