This scene has always annoyed tf out of me. The prop gun looks so fake and doesn't even look like it racks back when Vito fires lol, it just poofs a little smoke out. Very Vito-esque.

Yeah maybe it was the time period, because it couldn't have been budget issues but that scene with that prop gun and the prop gun Benny uses on the drug dealers after they call the hit off Carmine Sr. both look ridiculous when they shoot and just in general. Posted on 1/12/22 at 8:06 pm to biglego

Watched that clip on YouTube. Someone made the comment that you can here a casing hit the ground even though the gun very clearly never ejected one.

One of the cringiest moments of the whole show. I don’t know if it’s on David Chase, episode director, or some prop guy, but you’re going to have a close up of a gun in a show about gangsters, act like you’ve shot one before.
I mean, Jackie’s demise was a storyline the whole season, and they ended it horribly. Vito’s 450 lb arse coming out of nowhere and clipping Jackie Jr with a gun that doesn’t have any recoil.
