That's what I was talking about. Just couldn't find a gif of it, so I used an old one.

He's dead. They put someone else in the suit, that's the joke. He even asked if killing people is something they often do.

And I gotta say it. I am tapping out of this show. I can't take every freaking IP turning into horseshite right now. Will see how the season goes and pick it up when there's not some dude taking a dong up the butt or making a mockery of 50% of the population.

Some series don't need a 4th season.

I mean...he fricked a squid. I'm not sure in what world, making him gay would be worse than that.

I love that he’s hiding the squid in his closet and the squid itself had a little toy The Deep in its aquarium to keep it company

I’m surprised that you guys are surprised that the show is double fisting us with the political stuff this season when Neuman is running for VP in the show AND a show that’s always taken pop shots at Trump is doing it again as it gets closer to our actual election in November?

The Frenchie stuff is out of nowhere for me. I’m not bothered by it like some others but it does seem like it came out of nowhere. If it had been building since like Season 1 or 2, that’s totally different. But didn’t he and Kimiko kiss just last season? It’s been awhile since I did a rewatch

She basically friend-zoned him last season, saying something to the effect that she loved him like family.

It didn't really come out of nowhere considering Mallory's grandkids were killed because Frenchie had to save his ODing male lover (he was in a three-way relationship with that guy and the black haired girl).

But with that said, it does still irk me that it seems that every show now has to have a gay relationship in it even though gays only make up what, 7% of the US population? That definitely does get old.

I guess they got beastiality covered there. But, wasn’t the squid Homelander made him eat a male?

Yep, it was Timothy.

I actually buy Frenchie’s character being down for anything.

She was pretty before, but now she looks like a 50 year old who had her face stretched out to remove all the wrinkles. Mother's Milk looks like a different guy.

Agreed, and it's not like she was some older actress that was on the tail end of her career. She had the "girl next door" look going in the first season which really worked for her. Then she appeared to get a little work done before season 2, and maybe a little bit more before season 3. And then she evidently said screw it with the half-steps, make me look like a female Skeletor for season 4. I just don't understand why people think that much plastic surgery makes them look better.

I actually thought they changed actors. I asked my wife who is the new black dude, have we seen him before. Frenchie being gay is not shocking to me. I half arse expected it. The political stuff is way to on the nose now. When it was subtle it halfway worked but now it’s not smart and basically just in your face “hey this is my opinion of people like you”.

I’m waiting for Sam Winchester to show up since Kripke has brought back almost every main character from Supernatural now.

Watched E2.

Noir talking is bad. Like really bad. Not only does it ruin the character but this show doesn’t need hokey comic relief. I get that they are poking fun at him being dead and replaced him with this asshat but damn.

The gay stuff is so over the top. Good lord. The five twin dudes with Firecracker. Frenchie. That Splinter masturbation scene was just egregious. And yes I know it’s always been in the show and at one point we saw a dude literally climb into a penis. For whatever reason it just feels so much more prevalent this season.

And I do agree that Frenchie being down for anything makes sense. But again it just feels like it’s at the forefront this season when it shouldn’t be.

MM’s look is jarring as well. He looks like a completely different person.

Holy shite. A-train has never made a real save? Have we not seen him save anybody on the show? That adds a new angle to this if most of the saves have been fake. But we’ve literally seen them do superhero shite before and they clearly do have super powers. So why even the need to fake it? I get the angle of crafting saves for marketing purposes but real saves would do the same thing if not even better.

Ashley looks tons better this season. She looked good in that sort of boob shirt thing. Kumiko looks better again this season too.

Deep getting some balls could be dangerous.

Watching Homelander try to be a dad is great. Feels like Anthony Starr is overusing the face twitch this season. He does it like every five seconds with every line of dialogue.

Why does MM hate Butcher so much now? I don’t remember what happened with that? Was it that he didn’t kill Soldier Boy when he should have while he was super up last season?

For some reason it almost feels like a different show completely this season. Between frenchie’s turn of sorts, Starlight’s face, MM’s ozempic, etc. I’m still in on it, but this feels like a step down so far through the first two. Ultimately I'm still glad it’s back on tv though.

I am fine with Homelander partly representing the worst aspects of Trumpism, but it feels like the show is trending towards making that the main focus.

Well I mean the showrunner (Kripke) said he is going to be making the Homelander = Trump correlation the primary focus moving forward and to stop watching the show if you don't like it so...

I haven't seen the new episodes, but if you are watching it hoping to see less direct political satire I dont think you're going to get your wish any time soon.

Is Homelander pulling out grey pubes or are they falling out. I’m assuming that’s to show he’s aging but is he becoming vulnerable also.

I was wondering about this too. He seemed fed up with Butcher last season but it seems he borderline hates Butcher now, can’t wait to get rid of him, punching him.

I guess he’s tired of Butcher being closed off, lying and manipulating them. Maybe he feels like Butcher has had a death wish, is now getting his death wish fulfilled in 6 months, and sees how this could lead Butcher to become reckless not only with himself but with the others, which could be true. TV show Butcher wouldn’t knowingly get The Boys killed and has shown to care for them, especially Hughie and MM but he might not be as careful or care that they might die as long as he gets Homelander before his timer runs out. And who knows how the tumor is going to affect his brain. He’s already hallucinating

I’m guessing it’s yet another thing to show how he views himself as not human, or above them but yet he’s dealing with an enlarged prostate and grey hair, things that affect humanity, normal people and he obviously can’t fricking stand it

I thought Sister Sage would be a woke addition to the show but she’s been a nice, cunning villain so far. I wonder if she’s eventually the one that comes up with a plan to get rid of Homelander. I don’t expect her to survive the season (HL will def kill her once her plan starts working) but she’s too smart not to have a backup plan or have a plan in place to frick over Homelander in some way.

I’m also interested in what they do with Ryan. I thought for sure they would turn him into a little mini Homelander and while he might be a little shite, it’s clear he and Homelander are headed for a split. I wonder if Butcher eventually gets Ryan away from Homelander but HL finds them and he accidentally kills Ryan and Grace the way Ryan accidentally killed his mom, which is the final straw in the mental breakdown for both Butcher and Homelander. And it sets up the showdown between Butcher and Homelander for the final season

That has to be the plan IMO. Something will happen and she will split from HL. She’ll come up with a plan and it won’t work for some reason, and he will kill her or she will die as a result. But then she’ll tell Butcher another way. And the final season will be him essentially on the verge of death and he will V up and kill HL with the help of Ryan IMO. I don’t think they are building up Ryan to have HL accidentally kill him off. He will be one of the only ones strong enough to deal with HL (with some assistance), in a similar vein as Invincible.

Not to mention that the character Neumann was gender-swapped from (Vic The Veep) was literally designed to be the most insulting caricature of George W. Bush they could possibly create in the comics.
